I need some help. I think I read somewhere that I could enter recipes into SparkPeople and they would be analyzed for nutrition. I can't figure out how or where to do this. Does anyone know. I need to get many recipes analyzed so I can keep my diabetes under control.
Can you help me?
I admire you ladies that do gardening. Sorry not my cup of tea. I don't think it is DH's either as he did plant a lot of flowers by the front door that have all died and still sitting there, dead.
Jan, Aleve doesn't do a thing for me either. I prefer Advil.

Good afternoon everyone,
The sun is out and it's 72 this afternoon. Doggone it my shoulder is hurting so much today I can't do any of the outside projects I wanted to. Hopefully this will calm down and I can still get at it later in the week. I took Aleve but it didn't do much.
I have been able to get some things done in the house. I made Cabbage Patch Chicken (Man In Mind) for lunch and we really liked it. Now I have some Becky's Prize Winning Banana Bread in the oven.
I pulled out some of my newsletters. There sure was a difference when JoAnna quit writing them. She was so talented and gifted with how she communicated but also how thoughtfully she put things together. If she had you use ham in one recipe, she gave you a couple more for the leftovers.
DH is outside painting the faschia board and gutters. He's almost done with the front- which is the trickiest with some shrubs to work around. The side and back surfaces are much steadier.
Ann, I guess I will be Prude #2. A guy came into the doctor's office I used to work at in short, flimsy shorts- more like a swim trunks. I shudder to remember it.
Sarah, I'm afraid the weeding and outside work will still be waiting when I'm able to get back to it. I just hope I can do these things before the rain comes steadily. We have a patch of crocosmia (flowers) that spread and I want to move them to our front bank and other places and then prepare that area and put some river rock on it so hopefully they won't grow back.

One post lost.
I got my grocery shopping done and all put away. I must be getting to be an old prude as I couldn't believe this one senior citizen man that was shopping today. He was slender built and no lady with him. Here he is in the shortest cut off jeans that he had to be wearing briefs under them if you know what I mean. Years ago the women could not wear shorts in the commissary.
Judy, I reread my pulled beef recipe and it said to use a top round roast about 4 lbs. cut in half. That is what I bought. It better be good. Will put it in the crock pot tomorrow. The recipe had two other ways to use the shredded beef other than just on buns. One was a pot pie with mashed potatoes on top and the other I think you added black beans and rice to the mix but I can't remember for sure.
Patty. did you make a lot of leaves? I saw a center piece at Kohl's that was round like a place mat with colored (plastic) leaves laid in circles to make the round mat. It was pretty.
Patty, lucky for us it did cool down enough to sleep in the house. I did go out there once to vac the shades when DH had the big house vac out there. Easier to use than the canister one I keep in the motor home. He had the air cond. on and it was nice and cool. Today seems hotter but we closed the house us about 9:30 and so far it isn't bad. Tomorrow morning I hope to get out there for my fall cleaning. DH did wash the rugs.. I have towels on the couch and dinette and a cover on the chair. I'm one that keeps it clean for the next owner. The chair is fabric and DH is apt to bleed so good to keep covered. A pain some times.
Yesterday I got sad news that a friend in Texas has cancer of pancreas. She has been doing W W for the last year and lost around 70 lbs. At one time there were 12 seniors of us on a thread on Dotti Weight Loss Zone. When they combined the over 60's with the over 50's we decided to just email back and forth. Now there are 5 of us that keep in touch. Her internist has sent her to a oncologist who sent her to one that heads a clinical Trials clinic in San Antonio. Thank goodness she lives close to San Antonio.
Sarah, I think we are to get a break in the weather on Wed. That is better than the whole week they thought it would last. I bought a W W TV dinner for my supper. I like Lean Cuisine but they put too much garlic in them for me so will try W W again. I do think L C is better than W W except for the garlic.
Jan, I know you would like some warm weather before the damp winter days arrive. It doesn't seem like you had much summer this year. Every time we've been in you area the weather has been nice.

Patty you have more lovely pieces! I love the covers for mop and dusters. Thank you for sharing with us.
My weekend was quiet. No excitement in this end of St Pete!
Ann how is the heat? Are you using your RV?
Jan did you get all the gardening done? Weeds are neverending it seems.
Louise I have had your DD on my mind. How is she doing with the diabetes? We miss your posts.
Got plans for the rest of your day? I'm just doing little things today, sweeping etc.
Enjoy this day!
