Sarah, I don't know which is best - the first cup of coffee or the last cup.
Ann, That would frustrate me like all get out to not be able to turn the computer on. What ever happend to just turning a switch on and things work? Not in computerland. Glad your daughter had a good result with the heart schock.

Good Afternoon. My morning was in the crapper until DH came home and got the computer fired up. We were notified we went over our MGbites and will probably get an extra charge. We have been leaving the power booster on all the time and it just runs. So we decided when the last person was on the computer we would shut the booster off. Well I could not get it to come on. Of course DH got it on right away. The socket I stuck the plug in is the one that you have to turn on with the hall switch. I did try and plug it in another switch and nothing happened. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr
Then I called the dentist office to make an app't to have my teeth cleaned that is way over due. She said maybe I could come in tomorrow at 2 but she'd have to check and she would call me right back. Now do you calling 2 hours later right back. I sure don't.
DD called when she got out of the heart Dr. office and her heart has stayed in rhythm since it was shocked last week. I am so glad and hope it stays in.
Patty, I don't drink as much water when we travel either and twice while away from home I've gotten a UTI infection. My DS thinks the honey crisp apples are the best and I don't think I've ever had one. Mac's back in Ma, were the best as several orchards close by but the ones here are so mushy and tastless. I've never see Spies here but have heard of them. I've not heard of Ida Reds. I'm so sorry your mother isn't doing well. I just hope she is pain free.
Jan, it would be so nice if the housing market was doing well in Ma. I sure wish my mothers house would sell and one less thing to have to deal with.
We called last night to wish our DIL a happy birthday and DS said she was in Biloxi, Ms. She loves to gamble and generally pretty lucky. DS has a ton of consulting work and he told us he doesn't enjoy the casinos any more. They use to be big time Bingo players but bingo isn't that popular where they live. Some of our RV friends love the camp grounds when a casino is close by. Not our cup of tea.
DH won't be here for supper so I'm going to have the last two hot dogs.
Sarah still on the warm side here. Today isn't as bad as yesterday.
Ann in San Diego
Our weather is the same so I won't bore you with the gory details. lol
I'm so sorry about your Mom. So hard to see the ones we love go down mentally. I will keep you and your Mom in my prayers. Hope you get lots of apples. They will taste awfully good.
Jan sounds like you have a busy day planned. Isn't that last cup of coffee the best? Relaxing before the day gets started with that last cup.
Enjoy your day everyone!
Catch Ya Later
thank you Jan.
I appreciate all you girls so much.
Patty, The apples sound wonderful! Honey Crisp is selling for $1.88/lb. here. You just don't find Northern Spies or some of those in the stores. I'm making a trip to the store and will get some apples. So sorry to hear about your Mom. It is so hard to see them that way. Hugs.

Jan, and girls,
Brother has many different kinds, he has
red and yellow delicious
I think that is it.
We got a large box, probably a bushel or more, of Honey Crisp...these are THE best apples, bar none...that I have ever tasted.
these are grounders, ones that fell off the tree, and finding the ones the deer haven't taken a bite out of...lol
Girls, Mom is doing terrible. Not engaging with us at all, her head down on her chest most of the time...that stroke took all that was left of her I think...
I cried when hubby and I left...but am fine now.
I'm enjoying my third and last cup of coffee before I get out of my chair and get busy.
So far this morning I cleaned up the kitchen and next comes the bathrooms and floors. DH is good to help with vacuuming.
I got most of one flower bed weeded yesterday and plan to finish it today.
Patty, what kind of apples will you get at your brother's? My grandmother had at least 3 huge apple trees we used to climb. Love the smell of applesauce cooking. Isn't it great not to have to be the oldest? Although in my TOPS group it's sort of a badge of honor. Makes it easier to go through life knowing someone else has been there first.
did I move? yes
did I drink water? yes
did I stay on food plan? yes
Patty, I know what you mean about adjusting your water drinking when you're traveling or going out.
Hope everone's Monday is starting out wonderfully.

Good morning Team,
The party was fun yesterday, though we didn't know many there.
Hubby said he was the second oldest one there, that makes me the third oldest. Past us was a 90 year old Great gramma...makes me feel old...lol
Hubby and I will go over and visit with Mom today, then go pick up apples at brothers farm...
ok, how was yesterday?
did you move?
did you stick to your diet?
did you drink your water?
I have a hard time drinking all that water if I am gone for any length of time. I try not to drink much while I am out and about, so I won't keep having to stop and go...get it...lol
ok, let's make today a healthy day.
