We left early this morning to get our pickup from the repair shop and drop off the Honda.
The only exercise I got today was the walking I did across a mall and back and at Super WalMart on our way home.
The food exchange plan is working well for me and so is the water drinking.
Judy, I've thought poor customer service has more to do with a younger generation who lack respect for others and not with what management is doing. I am always delighted when I do see a young person who does their job well and is friendly to everyone - not just their buddies- like the Burgerville we went to in Woodland, WA.
Ann, That's what we paid for gas today. Oh,oh. I was happy to find the icicle lights at Costco because I needed just one more strand to go across the house. The first year those lights came into the store, they sold like hotcakes and were gone until the next year so I wasn't taking any chances.
Good Morning. DH and I both needed to have lab work done so we went together. I am not a very patient person. Of course I had to wait for him. He drove and I think so he'd make sure on the route home that would take him by the ARCO station so he could get coffee. Boy, he is addicted. Never drank coffee the 20 years in the military and didn't drink it during his banking career. Gas at that station for $4.09 a gallon.
I forgot to mention that at Costco yesterday they had Christmas outside decorations on display. Aren't we rushing it a little. Maybe to make everyone feel cooler while the heat of summer is upon us.
I have got to cut up the strip of salmon I bought yesterday and get it into the freezer. No other plans except to read my book.
Someone turned on the heat in our house and it is so hot in my room that it woke me up before seven. My alarm goes oedff at seven AM. Then I just went back to bed and the phone rang. It was a woman from an eastern company and she excused herself by its too hard to keep track of all the time differences nationally. What ever happened to good customer service? Even in Alaska I could keep track of the time in any other state and even now I know just how far off GMT we are.
Have you noticed that as American workers are having considerably more demanded of them by their employers the service and attitudes get more shoddy? Where did the principal of treating others well go down the drain. It isn't the workers fault. Management needs to take responsibility and make sure that the services offered are of a high standard.
There is my rant for the day.
