Judy, I know there are times the refineries have to shut down to change over from winter fuel to summer fuel. What ever they do to make it thinner in the summer, thicker in the winter.

Patty, I slept pretty good last night but didn't go to bed until midnight as I wanted to finish reading my book. Lately I seem to have trouble getting to sleep after I get in bed. I keep waking up between 5 and 6 a.m. and sometimes I just can't go back to sleep. This morning I just decided I wasn't getting up. I was a little achy from the shot I got on Friday as I read on the computer could happen, so I took an Advil and probably about 8 I did go back to sleep and didn't get up till 10 a.m. That felt good.

My hair is starting to slowly come back. i think I will end up with a tommy hawk look. Hair on top and down the back but little on the sides.

I see DH must have bought some bacon this morning so we can have BLT's for supper. I complained yesterday that I thought we had bacon in the freezer. Well, DH is good at taking stuff to DS's house to fix them breakfast and not putting the goods on my shopping list. It is too warm to do any cooking and I'm not in the mood either.

I didn't sleep well last night either, what's up with that? I think I was too warm. I turned off the fan that was blowing on me a couple of nights ago and now my room is getting quite warm. I just can't keep up with the weather.

Today it is supposed to be quite warm again. There was no cloud cover this morning so I am sure it will meet the weatherman's expectations.

Are you Easterners familiar with our Marine climate? The winds blow in off the Pacific causing clouds to form during the night. In the morning those clouds hang around until the sun burns them off. So we stay quite cool until the sun breaks through in the afternoon. I like that.

I am headed for Seattle this afternoon. I think I'll go down and get something to eat before I leave. I don't usually do that, but today I am thinking I'm a bit hungry. My besides, my son probably doesn't have anything there for me to eat. I'm thinking it is time for me to gather a care package to take to him.

He was grouchy yesterday when I talked with him. He had a job application to fill out and it asked all the questions normally found in an interview. He read it to me and I found it to be really difficult, but in answering those questions he has developed a "cheat sheet" that will help him during interviews in the future. That is a very good idea. I have never been good at interviews because I didn't think about the questions in advance. My answers were always off the top of my head and not well thought out.

I sent out a list of the oil refineries in the United States. I wonder why it is that a fire in one refinery causes the price of petroleum products to soar. I also wonder why every year the refineries all shut down at the same time for "maintenance". That also causes those prices to spike. And the congressional committees can't find any evidence of collusion, what's up with that?

I'll get off my stump now and let you all live in peace. I wonder why I am so much more politically aware now than I was when I was younger. I've always been politically active but this is getting somewhat extreme.

Love, Judy emoticon emoticon

Well, I can't sleep, so might just as well get this post started for the day.

Did you drink your water?

Did you stick to your diet?

Did you move?
yes, 1 mile walk early this morning

Lets make today a healthy day.
