Wanna know how to gain 4 pounds over night? I weighed myself yesterday morning at 6:30 a.m. before I went to chemo and then again this morning. Don't drink much water and have a delicious supper of In and Out cheeseburger, Fries and 1/3 of a large DQ Blizzard. This was the first time I had an In and Out burger. I think they are just on the west coast. Every one says they are one of the best and it was very good. Even had two slices of tomato that wasn't sliver thin.
Sarah, DD came over for dad to fix her breakfast this morning and I asked her if she was getting better sleep with the CPAP machine and she said yes. She's not too happy with the pills the doctor has given her for her heart as with the heat her feet swell and she is a big water drinker too. She is over weight. She's gone back to DS house as she doesn't know if she is to take GS to his ball game or is his mother going to take him since he's at her house this week. She and DH plan to go to the game,
We still have some more days of the heat but comparing it to other areas it's not bad. And of course they ask everyone to cut back on their electric power.
I started a book yesterday that I plan to work on today. Maybe I'll get a couple read in the next four days. I even started another knit hat last night so the humidity isn't bad. I slept pretty good last night with all the meds I have in me. Hope the prunes I ate work later. That is always a problem after chemo.

We are getting lots of thunder so maybe the rain will come.

Patty I'm sorry you couldn't sleep. Tonight will be a better sleep night hopefully.
I'm thinking of trying the H.E. recipe Scalloped Chicken and Noodles today. I copied it from here and the person that posted gave no source that it is from. Hope it turns out good.
The thunder is getting closer so I better send this before I lose it.
