It is really dark and thundering here so this will be short so I can get it out in case we lose power. Our lightning is always ground lightning so I like to turn off the electronics when it starts to storm.
Ann I have been sleepy and yawning all day. So we are both having a snoozing day. Glad you got to do the chemo today. How is yor daughter doing with the breathing machine? I forget what they call them.
Where is Miss Patty?
moving--a tad better
Hope it is a good day for everyone. Enjoy!

Good Afternoon. Didn't we just start August and we are 1/3 into it already.
Home from the doctors office. My white blood count wasn't up a lot but enough for the chemo treatment. I asked the nurse if this new kool aid colored chemo was going to make the white sells go down each time and she replyed, yes and that is why you're going to get a shot. That was news to me. After I got the shot she said to buy some Claritin and take one a day for five days. That will keep the shot from raising havoc with my bone marrow.
I started to read a book but I was very sleepy in the chair and think I dozed off for a very few minutes several times. I have not gotten to sleep this past week as well as I usually do. All the lights shining do bother me. I remember a dear friend telling me years, 'just shut your eyes and they won't bother you'. Our next door neighbors aren't home as they are having more flooring put in due to a burst pipe that flooded the house. They have two sets of spot lights in back of their house which is the side of our house where our bedroom is. Well one of those lights came on last night before I got to sleep. I can't see much over their wall but could see enough that no one was trying to get in their sliding back door. Eventually it went out. I have no idea how an animal could get in their back yard to make the light come on. It is bright enough I could almost read in bed.
The rest of my day is going to be with my book and the TV. But not at the same time. I generally am a crab about how warm the chemo room is. Well today it was like an ice box.
Glad I had a sweatshirt with me.
