you'll see pics soon. I made strawberry patch jam and it's even better then the cherry!
tonight I bought stevia and raw cane sugar to try more strawberry jam. The raw cane sugar will only cost about 2 cents more per a jar then regular white sugar, pretty cool. I can't believe how cheap it was at Walmart.
Sarah, we do get good produce here but for some reason yellow squash is one that is either really nice or has spots on it. I wonder if it gets to much water as the spots always look like rust. DH tomatoes have their problems too. The bottoms of them start to rot. I think it is too much water but what do I know. He has three kinds planted. One I like that is firm. One is a lemon tomato I haven't tasted but doesn't sound that great. He tried one and said it was o k. The third one is juicer and not that great in a sandwich. DH likes those.
Today is another lovely day. The sun finally came out just about 11 a.m. I got the last of my paperback books that came from Pa. The place I ordered them from was in Or. but they have another store in Pa. I ordered 10 all together and every one of the covers is in like new condition.
Supper tonight is clean out the refrig. DH can have some left over strogenoff (even spell check doesn't know how to spell it) burger on a bun and anything else I can find in the frig. I'm looking forward to a grilled cheese and ham sandwich. That is something he would have for lunch on a regular basis while I eat my cottage cheese and pineapple tidbits.
