wow 160 sounds like a lot to me with work to boot! We're looking at houses around here under 50....lol closer to 20! lol haha Here 160 would get you a mc mansion! lol Actually my parents is a 10 bedroom, 2 kitchen, 3 laundry rooms, 4 living rooms, 7 bathrooms, on a lake (75 acres) and was only about 250...brand new...custom built...it's a log home.
It is hot and humid here in NE today and I've mostly been taking it easy, though I did get an hour long photowalk in this morning before the heat set in. I caught an eagle and took some photos of a neighbor's classic cars.
Dinner tonight is chicken stirfry with veggies from our garden - our 1st tomato, some green onions, summer squash (we have a bumper crop!), green beans, carrots, celery and whatever else I can think of. I'll brown the chicken in a bit of coconut oil, then simmer in chicken broth and some aronia berry salsa. Quick and easy.
Tonight is all about writing and art journaling. I hope everyone had a good day.

You can't punish yourself into change. You can't whip yourself into shape. But you can love yourself into well-being. - Susan Sky
"Hot and humid, enough said.
Ann it sounds like your GD would be better off waiting to find another home. Th right one will pop up. The bank probably has way too much invested in that house. I hope she finds something better. Your DH can fix breakfasdt here any time! Been years since I had biscuits and gravy. How is your DD doing? Did you make it to Costco the other day? Find any goodies?
It is darkening up so might get some afternoon storms. We all seem to be having a lot of humidity this summer. Wonder what the winter has in store for us this year?
I'm thinking meatloaf tonight. If I don't change my mind before hand. Salad is sounding good too.
What's on your menu tonight?
Enjoy your day!

Good Morning. No sun yet and maybe we won't get any. Kinda monsoon with a little humitdy.
DH went to fix GS and DD breakfast of biscuits and gravy although I think there will be some scrambled eggs too. His specially breakfast. Then GS has a baseball game this morning. AND a basketball game tonight. I'm going to stay home and start a new John Grisham book.
Sarah, maybe you can relate to this. GD in Fl. made an offer on a house. The full asking price 159,000. The bank wanted more, $165,000 so she offered 160,000. Two weeks pass and they countered with 165,000 again. Sounds like they don't care if they sell these foreclosures or not. DS was here when she saw the house and we had a full set of pictures. He and I agreed a two story would cost more to cool the upstairs and the back yard was small with no fence. She has two dogs and would also have to take up the carpeting. The walls were covered with crayon marks from the child that is living there. I think DS could see himself a big project. I hope she finds something more suitable.
Judy, you mentioned tracking carbs. I know a group that also counts the sodium. All this is too much work. I do well just tracking my calories,Ido try to only eat pasta once a week and rice once a week,
My weight is going down about 1/2 lb a week and pretty consistant. Of course I'm carrying around 10 tolbs of fluid. If that was gone I'd be at goal. Yesterday a lady at the Dr. off while we were getting chemo told me when she had surgery the fluid went down into her thighs. She has had multiple problems.
