OK, some of you may be puzzled by the relationship of my kids to my cousin that died.
My ex married my cousin, so her Mom would be my kids gramma. The gramma is the one that died...get it???
I had salad with dressing, green beans with almonds and swiss steak, and I tried to get all the gravy off the steak. Couldn't get it all off of course.
They also had fruit salad, mashed potatoes and choc. frosted brownies, but I had none of these. Every one was eating the brownies, but not me. I did want one though, and one would lead to a binge, so opted to stay away,.
Good Morning. No plans here. I woke up with my knee with arthritis really giving me a pain. I got through my 1 mile o k .
Seems like yesterday if I wasn't on the computer I was on the telephone. The lawn was getting mowed in Ma. and the across the road neighbor took the mother on a tour of the house. The dad and neighbor work together. They discovered a window broken in the garage and neighbor will seal that up or we'll have bats in there and even though they eat the bugs they do leave a big mess. The funny thing is by the front door another neighbor installed a fake motion detector some time ago and there was one by the back door that was broken into. Who ever broke into the house tore down the fake detectors. They really do look real and even rotate back and forth with a battery installed in them. The mother has agreed to spring clean the inside of the house. I'm really lucky to have such a good neighbor with connections. Small town people are the best. It's really difficult to take care of an empty house 3,000 miles away.
Neighbor said he knew some one who was interested in the safe in the house. It is one of those old fashion big safes that you might see in old western movies. It only weighs 3,000 lbs. I've looked them up on the computer and the asking price is from $13,500 to $24,000. I don't think anyone is going to pay that for my safe. The biggest expense will be getting it out of the basement. There is a large double door down there it will fit through but still would need heavy equipment to move it even though it is on rollers. The food bank in town told us they had one in the space they lease but no one had the combination to it. I do have the combination to mine. My dad was a stamp collector and stored some of his stamp books in there after they had been broken into once.
