Tonight I had my son's special mix of brown rice and seeds topped with pumpkin curry with chicken. Talk about YUM!!!
Yesterday while we were waiting for my car to be fixed we went to Uwajimaya and he showed me where and what to get to make his special rice. It is sooo good. Very satisfying in texture and flavors. Great for breakfast all by itself and as I said wonderful with Thai toppings.
You can use the rubber bands that come on produce for the purpose of marking your water jug. I use them for all sorts of things. I also loosely fold electric cords and put them in the tubes from rolls of toilet tissue.

Patty, this was in our paper today in the health section. "One hour of sitting and knitting burns 102 calories. (based on a 150 pound person) " I don't weigh 150 lbs but nice to know we do burn some calories with our needle work. I haven't worn a pony tail in 50 or more years, in fact I don't every remember wearing one. I just mark a line on my little notebook that sits on top of the microwave that I keep my exercise, water, and food record in. An X is for exercise and the food part is in short hand only known to me.
#1 DS will arrive about 5:30 from N. C. He flies from Charlotte to Detroit and then to San Diego. That sure is a long round about way. I'll heat up the Meat Ball Stew I made last week and put in the freezer. This morning I made a lemon cream cheese pie that was easy. I still don't have a lot of energy today but tomorrow will be better.
Good morning Team, I have some cleaning to do today, some knitting and some crocheting, some reading, some cooking. Staying home today...looks like I have lots of fun things on my plate for today yes? Also need to walk 1 mile...
Just this morning I remembered something Flylady said about keeping track of her drinking water. She used pony tail holders. Each time she filled up her jug, or glass as I use, put a different colored holder on the glass. easy peasy yes? so now I can keep track of my water without keeping track of it...get it?
