Another nice sunny day and nice enough to have the front door open. A couple called to check to see if we were going to the campout. I told them I could not take the heat in the Palm Springs area. It has been 107, 108 etc. If we went I would just stay in the air conditioned motor home and with 107 I doubt the air conditioner would cool down below 90 degrees and that is still too hot for me.
I finished reading my book and what a good one it was. I thought I was going to pay a couple of bills on the computer but the bank says bill paying is down. I 'll have to try later.
I stuck with my plan yesterday but I know I only got about 7 glasses of water in. I did run to the bathroom a lot more than 7 times though.
Judy, when I retired I gave up wearing a watch also. There are plenty of clocks around so no need for one.

Good morning everyone, This morning the weather is cool, getting warmer, the skies are clear and I think the birds must have hatched their eggs. They are singing again. The road in front of our house has been reopened after the winter's snow has melted.
It is early in the day and I have cancelled my doctor's appointment because all of my pushers have suddenly had other things come up so they can't go with me. My son called last evening to tell me he had to attend a meeting in Chehalis. He has been unemployed for more than a year now and this meeting is meant to help find a new job. Attendance is mandatory and the help is welcomed.
Schedule conflicts are a normal part of life, how we handle them can either add to or diminish stress in our lives. I have found that if I relax and let things flow everything will work out. I can usually change appointments, or make other necessary adjustments with little trouble. Trying to juggle family, job, and school taught me that schedules are not written in stone. Sometimes there is a great deal of pressure to keep on schedule, but when adjustments are made things get easier for everyone concerned.
When I left school bus driving I threw away my watch. Time is no longer important in my life. I make it to appointments on time, (usually early). That is the only time/schedule with which I concern myself. I especially find that hunger/appetite do not relate to the clock. I am usually not hungry for about three hours after I wake in the morning. Therefore, when I do get hungry I am inclined to make a high protein meal and not eat again until dinner. Dinner is not on any schedule either. Again, I create a meal when I actually need it, not just because it is a certain time. Quite often we will eat dinner around nine or ten in the evening. That works because we both like to stay up quite late.
I do keep my alarm set for seven AM. I have sleep apnea and find that maintaining a waking time is considerably better than allowing myself to sleep until I can't sleep any longer. I feel better and interestingly, I eat less. My water consumption stays about the same which is an improvement over my former practice of not drinking anything because I couldn't go to the restroom while I was driving.
How does time affect you? Does keeping a strict schedule cause stress or does it feel more relaxed?

Yesterday I visited a friend in the convalescent center, then went out to the country where a friend lives and we finished up some bookmarks we are taking to TOPS SRD this weekend. She is such a talented crafter! She is making two corsages of yellow silk roses for our KOPS (people who have reached their goal) to wear on the special Saturday night.
Today I need to get the clothes ready to wear this weekend. Hem a pair of slacks, make sure everything is washed and ironed.
Did you move yesterday? no, I started to stack wood, but didn't do very much, as I didn't feel well.
Did you drink your water? At least 7 glasses, not sure on the 8th one, as I lost count.
Did you eat according to your diet? Oh my yes, I have not cheated since I started this in April. Too much good food to eat, to want to cheat, and my cravings for carbs and sugary things went away after the first week.
OK, let's make today a healthy day.
Not sure if I told you about 2 more sweaters on my blog. I think I put them on Sunday.
