A belated Happy Mother's Day to the Moms. We are having some wonderful sunshine and I'm excited when my long-time HE friend comes through on an Alaskan cruise it won't be pouring down rain like it was a few years ago. Saturday I did well with walking - this time I did a Weight Watchers walk video. Drank 8 glasses of water. Stuck to my food plan.

Hi Patty and Louise and the rest, Happy Mother's Day to all of you mommies out there. I made lunch and we ate with my mom. Had a nice lunch and a nice visit.
It is cloudy here today. We have had a few sprinkles. But it is warm!!
I did excellent with the moving yesterday. I spent at least 90 minutes mowing the yard. Most of it was on an incline or steep so I got a good workout. My eating wasn't really on track. I did pretty good with the water.
Thanks for the motivation, Patty! You make one great cheerleader!!

Patty, Thank You for your post and the accountability. I did drink my water yesterday. However, I eating was not really healthy. I did get in a lot of walking. However, today is a brand new day so I am staying on the Weight Watchers Plus 2012 Program today. This program really does work but I have to STICK to it. I WILL!!!! Thank You for keeping me accountable! I did not weigh in yesterday because I did not go to the meeting--Big Mistake! I do so much better when I attend meetings. So next week I am praying with a lot of work on my part that I will be under 270 and in the 260's. I will also be staying vegetarian because I feel so much better when I do--not vegan but vegetarian.

Good morning team, Do you feel like you are on a team. Well, we are. We are on a health team, a weight loss team, a drinking water team, a moving team. So let's get in a huddle(football...lol) and start working together to help each other.
How was your yesterday? Did you move? yes, in town, lots of moving Did you drink your water? yes, 8 glasses Did you eat according to the diet you are on? oh my yes, I am eating better than I ever have, and losing weight to boot...what could be better...
If you had a bad day yesterday, how can you make today better. Plan ahead to make time for moving, water drinking and eating right... if you are going out for lunch or supper, ask to be taken to some place that you can eat properly. Ask to park the car as far away as possible, so that you get some steps in while getting someplace. Ask the waiters to cook your food as you want, and don't be embarrased about it. Don't forget the water at the table, lots of water. Just because it is a holiday, does not mean that you can eat whatever you want...
okay, we have a plan. Now let's move.
So come on team, let's do what we need to, for health and wellness... Patty
