Glenna, my DH would love your butter beans and biscuits.
Patty, wonderful that the family gathered for your mothers birthday. She may not have said much but I'm sure she took in every minute of it.
DH went with the kids for a baseball game. It was over an hour north of here. DH went super early to fix them breakfast before they left. They lost which DH said was a good thing. If they had won they would have had to play again at 4:30 this afternoon.
I went through packed up smaller size clothes. One good size box of pants and a blanket zip bag full, that I would not part with as most of them were Koret jeans and a bunch were Francesca Koret which are the ones you don't have to iron. They all fit. The heavier winter jeans I put in a blanket bag as I don't need to clutter the closet with them now. I think 10 pair of summer weight pants will do me.
Then I tackled a bag that my king size bed ensemble with pillows came in. It was full of blouses. Years and years ago Mervyn's and Sears and Pennys sold a brand of cotton short sleeve blouses that didn't require much ironing and washed up beautifully. They came in all kinds of prints and I loved them. Nice and cool in the summer. Well the company must be out of business as they aren't sold any more. One in a while I'll see a lady with one on as I recognize the fabrics. Anyway I probably have about 30 of them, maybe more. I don't part with stuff if it's good even to just wear around the house. These blouses are great for camping. I even put on a bra to try them on. That was interesting. Anybody got any stuffing? I haven't been wearing a bra since the ribs were bothering me and since I had the port put it just skipped it. A shell and blouse worked. I do have a stack of blouses and some pants for the thrift store.
I still have one large bed ensemble type of bag filled with clothes in our closet. They are the dressier ones. I 'll get to them another day.
I think I better quit. I thought I lost my post.
