Today was my TOPS weigh-in. I missed last week and today I registered an eight pound loss. I won the best loser basket. No small honor since I have been gaining steadily for several weeks. I was really getting depressed. It was really nice to hear from a fellow member, "You've done it before, you can do it again." I can't begin to tell you how important the members of my TOPS group are to me. They have demonstrated love in productive ways.I truly appreciate their unflagging support. This was a tough winter for me and though I didn't get to most of the meetings, they often called and offered strong support.
There is on my computer screen a message that says, "Lose the Clutter, lose weight:. I've been working on clearing some of my clutter to contribute to the TOPS garage sale this weekend in Mineral, (WA). There are 15 or so members in our group and most have contributed to the sale. When I dropped off my carload of stuff today the garage was completely full. I took a large variety of things and I know that the others brought just as large a variety. It really looks great. I will be working elsewhere for most of the sale, but I will check in there and see what there is that I need. I am sure there will be something.
Good Afternoon. If you guys are losing posts I 'm going to play it safe and type as an email and then copy and paste. Works for me.
DH took DD to the hospital this morning to have her heart shocked. It flutters instead of beating. DH called and said the Dr. told him she has sleep apnea. That is no surprise. Most of DH family had it. The heart did get back in rhythm. They'll probably be home in another hour. I guess DH will have to drive her truck home and I'll have to follow in the car to bring DH home. For some reason I am not at all ambitious today. I feel fine just not ambitious.
The weather started out pretty gloomy but now the sun has come out. I do have chicken thawed to make a dish with peas and Orzo pasta.

Good Morning Patty and all who will follow! I lost two posts so far. I hope this one goes through! Patty, the story about the bread was funny! Men are so funny! This will be a very short post as I do not want to lose this one also! My DD went to the doctor's yesterday and she has the flu. She is on bed rest and drinking a lot of liquids. She cannot go back to work until next Monday. Prayerfully she will be better by then. I think I am now fighting the flu so I am taking it easy and drinking a lot of liquids, mostly water. Well, everyone, please have a Wonderful Wednesday!
Good morning, It is supposed to rain today, high of 47. I need to walk between raindrops today.
Almost done with a pinky stripe baby sweater in that same pattern. I am using Caron simply Soft, cause I have a lot of it, and it is making it pretty small. These sweaters are 3/4 length sleeve, most of them.
I have to tell you a funny story. I like whole wheat bread. Hubby prefers white balloon bread as I call it. Nothing but air...lol well, we were buying whole wheat bread all the time, cause I kept saying it was so much better for us. Well, now I can't eat bread. At least at this point. So yesterday, hubby bought white Italian sliced bread. He had toast with peanut butter on it, and he came to me, and said, "I almost cried." I say why. He says, "because I am eating white balloon bread, and it tastes so good." lol he is so funny.
Going to lunch at senior center today
Yesterday, I made a quiche, no crust, and a tuna "rice" casserole. You use cooked cauliflower for the rice, after it is cooked, you use a potato masher to get it rice like consistency. It looks and sort of tastes like rice in this casserole. Very good.
Want to finish my pinky stripe sweater today, and start on a blue stripy sweater with this same yarn...I love the 3/4 length of the sleeves. There is a patter to put long cuffs on some of them, and the blue one is written that way. So we shall see. This is the easiest pattern I have ever done...just need to keep track of your rows.
