It is supposed to rain today, high of 47. I need to walk between raindrops today.
Almost done with a pinky stripe baby sweater in that same pattern. I am using Caron simply Soft, cause I have a lot of it, and it is making it pretty small. These sweaters are 3/4 length sleeve, most of them.
I have to tell you a funny story.
I like whole wheat bread. Hubby prefers white balloon bread as I call it. Nothing but air...lol well, we were buying whole wheat bread all the time, cause I kept saying it was so much better for us.
Well, now I can't eat bread. At least at this point. So yesterday, hubby bought white Italian sliced bread. He had toast with peanut butter on it, and he came to me, and said, "I almost cried." I say why. He says, "because I am eating white balloon bread, and it tastes so good." lol he is so funny.
Going to lunch at senior center today
Yesterday, I made a quiche, no crust, and a tuna "rice" casserole. You use cooked cauliflower for the rice, after it is cooked, you use a potato masher to get it rice like consistency.
It looks and sort of tastes like rice in this casserole. Very good.
Want to finish my pinky stripe sweater today, and start on a blue stripy sweater with this same yarn...I love the 3/4 length of the sleeves. There is a patter to put long cuffs on some of them, and the blue one is written that way. So we shall see. This is the easiest pattern I have ever done...just need to keep track of your rows.
ok, need to get off here...
