Hi everyone, I am glad to be back. I missed you all. So much has happened to you and I have to catch up now.
Ann, If you can smell fish, don't buy it. Fresh fish doesn't smell and when you smell that very unpleasant scent the fish is old and spoiling. Complain to the store about the smell. It may be that someone isn't cleaning that department well enough. If I can smell fish anywhere in a store I tell the management right away. That is a serious health hazard. If telling the management doesn't take care of the problem call the agency that handles food inspection in your area. Some people may not be aware of the danger in that bad smell.
Glenna, the mac and tuna sounds great. I wrote it down so I can look it up.
Patty, that is wonderful that you are now in ONEDERLAND.
My weight is going down too. I'm doing good if I get 1,000 calories in a day. Before the Big C I was aming for 1200. Believe me I'm not complaining. All of a sudden the pants are baggy. I love it. Even my jammies that were parting at the seams have plenty of space available.

Ann, your sleep cycle sounds like mine sometimes...isn't it terri ble...
I am staying home today.
Started a baby sweater for a lady. She wants pure white. I like making white baby sweaters, better than pink or blue. I am sick of pastel pink and blue for babies...I have made so many like that, so I am boycotting them. That's why I choose non-babylike colors for most of my baby sweaters...You just can't cross a boycott line, now can you...
I finally made it below 200 pounds. I am pleased...hoping to have another loss soon...
Hello Ann and the rest,
Ann, That is bad when you can't sleep. Perhaps a nap would be a good idea. Gotta get your rest when you can. Supper sounded good. I love mushrooms and mushroom soup. I have the Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Tuna in the oven now. It is from Fast, Cheap, and Easy. Sounds very good. I am anxious to try it.
It is sunny and beautiful here today. The air is cold though. We had a heavy frost last night with temps in the 20's. Supposed to have more of the same tonight.
I hope everyone is having a happy Good Friday.
Nice to see you back on line with us Grandma Judy. It is nice to have the large grocery stores that carry so many unusual items. We don't have Fred Meyer here but have shopped in them when we traveled. There is a newer French Market behind our bank that I have yet to venture into. Of course we have a lot of Asian markets of all kinds. One big one near us that has interesting things but I can't stand the smell of their fresh fish. Really bad.
Jan, I know you will enjoy your turkey breast. Our dinner will be a quick and easy one. Last night I took some frozen meat balls and added a can of mushrooms and cr. of mushroom soup with some dried onion and parsley. After it heated I added a little f/f sour cream and that was supper with a veg. on thawed out left over noodles. I'm lucky my DH will eat anything.
Last night was the pits. I went to bed at 10:45 and did go to sleep. Woke up at 1:30 and I don't believe I ever went back to sleep. Finally got up this morning at 7 a.m. No pain just no sleep. That is rare for me. Maybe I'll have to take a nap this after noon.
