Patty, how nice that a friend of your mother is also in the same nursing home. That will make it easier for her and now she has ladies to talk to when ever she wants. You and your brother have done the right thing for your mothers safety.
My #1DS gave me a piece of uplifting news. He said his wife was told she had pancreatic cancer and when they removed the baseball size fibroid tumber it was not cancer.
Thank for all your prayers and good thoughts and keep them coming.

Ann, I am still praying for you and will continue to do so. I will be praying about your doctor's appointment tomorrow. Patty, I am praying for you and your mother's transition to the nursing
home. I have a friend here in Arizona who is bringing her mother age 96 yrs. to an independent living place today. At first, they thought she would go into the assistant part but the doctor said she was OK for the independent part. However, she is there if she has to go in
the assistant one. It is actually closer for my friend. She can walk to the place from her home.
Before she had to drive about two hours.
Went to a new place to buy produce today. DH and I got a lot for only $33.07! Of course, we probably will have to use them in the next couple of days but it was worth it! I have the Cancer Support Group to go to tonight and tomorrow morning the Ladies Bible Study I go to.
Ann and girls,
Ann, still praying.
Sarah still needs prayers.
Oh my, what a hard day. I tried to stay up and cheery and happy for Mom, so she wouldn't get down...I am finally home, and it was so so hard to leave her in the nursing home. Oh my it was hard. i cried most of the way home, but know that it is the best for her.
She has a friend that is there, and that took mom under her wing. Her roommate is nice, and a lady held out her hand to Mom, and said welcome home...now wasn't that sweet?
I will be better soon, it is just so hard. Mom is giving it a good try to be cheery and upbeat about all this. bless her heart.
Sunny and nice outside. I'm still not dressed. It took me over an hours to fill out 15 pages of forms for the doctor I see tomorrow. A Gynecologic Oncology office just down the hill from #2DS house. The office girl didn't tell me where the office was but said she'd email me directions. I never would have made a 9 a.m. app't if she had. From 8 - about 9:30 a.m. traffic in that direction is stop and go. Only about 5 miles and it will take a while to get there.
Yesterday I had another 4 1/2 liters drained. The weight it getting down.
Patty, I hope tomorrow you have time to rest and report in. I'm sure the last few days have been terrible for you. I hope all went well with your mothers doctor app't and the transition to the nursing home went well.
Thanks all for the kind thoughts and prayers. I'm going to need them all.
