Ann, my hip is fine now. Just my thumb aches... The swelling is starting to go down some, and I am using it more...I think that is probably why.
Just cleaned up my kitchen, appliances large and small, cleaned off counters and moved things around. did the floor, it is spanking new, but I am tired out, and won't walk probably.
I can either walk or clean, go to town or walk, go to town or clean, not both
have a good day girls,
Good Morning. We had sun an hour ago and now it is clouding up. The rain has suppose to have moved on. Our mountains got snow again. Yesterday afternoon we had a shower, but just about the time people would be getting off work it really came down. Didn't last long and maybe a couple of miles from here didn't get the down pour. Another heavy down pour later in the evening too. The paper said we didn't get much more than 1/2 inch and that's not much compared to what other parts of the country get.
Jan, my mother had several lift chairs over the years. Hers were all recliners too as she had to keep her feet elevated. The last one she had was pretty new and I gave it to the neighbor that helped her so much. She was having knee problems. Most chairs are so low to the ground I have trouble with my weak knees getting out of them.
I have some fish thawing for supper. It is packaged with a marinade but I didn't like the marinade at all so will wash that off. I won't buy this one again.
Patty, I hope you are feeling better. That is tough still having to help mom when you have a sore hip and thumb. I hope there is a vacancy at the nursing home for her soon. A tough decision but your health is important too.
DD just called to say the grocery store next to her work place has bread for 50 cents today. Tomorrow is suppose to be their last day as their lease has run out. Home Depot where DD works is going to expand into the grocery store. This has been in the planning stages for a very long time. I hope Home Depot keeps the air conditioning of the grocery store as that place gets hot in the summer for the cashiers. DD wears shorts to work all year round.
