Patty, sounds like you and your DB have had to make a difficult decision. I remember when DH mother went to live in the town nursing home. She wasn't always happy with her room mate but she actually loved the activity they had along with the entertainment and people to talk to during the day. I hope your nursing home is a good one.

I am pretty fine Jan, thanks for mentioning it. Just a bit sore in my back still.
cleaned the upstairs bathroom, changed the sheets
went to Mom's and to the store.
brother and I decided to put Mom on the waiting list for the local nursing home. It was a hard decision. I hope we don't have to wait very long .
Have a good evening girls.
It's a grey day here but not raining. I've been doing Monday housecleaning. Kitchen and bathroom are clean, laundry almost done, chicken and salmon thawing for dinners.
Yesterday after church DH and I drove to meet our youngest son half-way to give him back his cell phone. We had a nice visit and then back home.
I hope Patty is okay after that fall.

Another post lost. Darn that makes me mad.
Yesterday was a ho hum day here with very little going on. It must have been the same for the rest of you. Today it is very cloudy and rain is expected later this afternoon. Probably just in time for the evening commute.
DS just sent me a newspaper picture and article about Venice Beach, Fl. where a felon had been in several houses in the neighborhood hiding out. He finally was caught and three sheriffs were leading him away in the picture. GD was one of the sheriffs in the picture. Thank goodness DS and DIL were in Atlanta over the week end attending a concert. DIL is a poor sleeper and GD's career I'm sure doesn't help.
I was up and out early for me this morning. Off to the commissary. First I went in the exchange for a birthday card and I always go in through the nursery section as is closer to the cards and the check out there is never busy. What a lot of fresh flower displays and balloons for Valentines Day tomorrow.
