PATTY, I hate those sugar lows. I call them crashes. I am diabetic and when I do not eat on time it happens. I carry granola bars with me. STRESS-causes crashes too. Good or bad stress. Shopping causes me to stress, that is why the granola bars.
The diabetic medication bottle said to take it in the morning. I do not eat as much during the day, so I started taking it in the evening at supper time. That works well as long as I have a snack 1 1/2-2 hours later. Also my supper is my main meal and I make sure I have 2 starches then and 1 1/2 carbs at snack.
When we are able to get a place, and I can do my own cooking, I plan on eating much smaller amounts every 3 hours. I read this from one of MAGNOLIAHONEY replys. Hope you are able to experiment and figure it out.
Also if it is really bad about 1/4 can of sugar soda works really fast to bring mine up. I hate real soda-but sometimes I have to take desperate measures.
This disorganization is also the reason I have gained so much by not paying attention to organizing my diet and then having to eat something quickly that is too many carbs to get blood sugar back up. SORRY WROTE A BOOK.
LOUISE-glad the tooth thing is over. Maybe the year is like March comes in like a lion goes out like a lamb.
SARAH- It has been in the high 60's here in Marysville, Ca where my daughter lives. It is cloudy here today a little. Hope we get rain, they really need it.
