OK, it's not that I am a great walker, walk every day or very far, she knows my illness, and what I go through each and every day, it's the perserverance of getting back up and trying again, that she is applauding. I just keep trying, like all of you do. Any of you could be on that blog, and her talking about you, but I am the one contacting her all the time...lol so it was me, that she wrote about. you all must have thought, Patty, on that walking blog, some days she can't even walk...lol
It is a "turn on the heat" day here today. Supposed to have a couple of nights of freezing temps. The are watering the strawberries to ice them. The cold is good to make citrus sweet as long as it doesn't stay cold and freeze the trees. Everyone will be draping their flowers and such with boxes and sheets tonight.
Louise what a year this is turning out to be for you. I hope the worst is over and it is downhill sailing the rest of the year for you!
Ann enjoy the cards and friends tomorrow. My landlady made a really good salad through Christmas. It had bowtie pasta, grapes, broccoli, pecans and a red wine vinegar, mayo dressing. It was very good. Refreshing.
Patty you are famous! How nice of the lady to acknowledge your accomplishments. Is your snow over?
No cooking today. Babying another sore throat. I sure seem to get my fair share of sore throats.
Hope it is a good day for everyone.....especially Louise!!!!!
Good Afternoon Patty and all to follow. It is 64 degrees out side and very sunny. I've been busy all morning getting ready for the 8 bridge ladies tomorrow. I have dessert made and in the freezer and will work on the pasta fruit salad later. Dusting is also done.
Patty, now that you have someone following you on their blog you'll have to live up to their expectations. I know you will. Yes, sore shoulders and fingers are a problem with yarn work. It is my shoulder that bothers me from time to time when I knit a lot.
Louise, yes, how did your lose a tooth. i've lost my share of fillings but never a tooth. I hope you are able to get into the dentist today.
Now that I"ve rested a few minutes I think I will fix myself some lunch. I'm going to make a turkey meat loaf for supper.
We didn't get much accumulation last night. Actually looks like maybe just a dusting. 19 degrees
My index finger on my right hand is either numb or sore all the time. Too much yarning, don't you think? Probably carpel tunnel...bah also if I yarn too much, my hands get achy...I love yarnin'
new pics on my blog.
I am featured on a walking blog. Don't know why she thinks I am an inspiration, but she does...though she walks 3 to 5 miles a day and I can hardly get in 25 min... but if you want to read it, it's here http://ewalkandtalk.blogspot.com/
