Ann, have you had trouble with that knee before? You did a good job of walking in one mile spurts despite the knee.
Quinn's room is ready. some of the "surplus" is piled in my bedroom. Some in the computer room. He called and he is on the way. Troy is still feeling sick and unable to eat. I'm hoping this can resolve itself and not need a trip to ER.
It's a grey, cloudy day and 43 degrees. Down in the 30s at night.
I'm thinking about all of you and some who haven't dropped in to visit for awhile.
I woke up with a very sore burning knee and it was cold outside. I did wake in the night and felt cold in bed. I had the elec. blanket on 1 and turned it up to 2. The temp when I did drag out of bed was in the 40's. Cold for us. I got a one mile walk in and the knee felt a little better. Now I've gotten two more one miles in and it is a little stiff. I'll take another Advil when I have my lunch.
I'm still working on my files and shredding paper. I had to unclog the shredder a couple of times. Not a fun job. Two of my file drawers are done and two to go. These two don't have so much to throw away.
DH is kid sitting today until Aunt Sue gets off work at 2:30. Tomorrow I will fix my Christmas Day dessert and cook up my butternut squash. That warms up well in the microwave oven. I do have a couple of packages to wrap but most of the gifts are checks. We will have dinner tomorrow night at The Outback restaurant that is only a mile or two from here. I did read in the paper that more and more restaurants are staying open on Christmas Eve and even Christmas Day. We have always eaten out on Ch.Eve. Years ago when the kids were younger it was Mexican restaurants. The one we especially liked has long ago gone out of business.

It is already really warm here this morning. Warm like turn on the a/c!
Patty I'm so sorry you aren't sleeping well. It is hard to go about your day when you start out tired. My prayers are that this passes and you will get much needed sleep.
Louise I used a bunch of fresh veggies yesterday in veggie soup. Sure tasted good. Quiet time in meditation and prayer is so uplifting.
Ann you and Louise held down the fort yesterday! Did you look at the lights last night? Here there are neighborhoods that decorate in a main theme. When you drive through they mill around giving candy to kids in cars. So fun and festive.
Good Morning Patty and all who will follow! Patty, I will be praying that you will be starting to get a good night's sleep! Have fun with your grandchildren! Today will be Quiet Time With The Lord, Exercise which will be dancing and Wii Bowling, cooking healthy--cooking all the veggies so they will not go bad and maybe a little house cleaning and definetly Christmas wrapping!
Morning, I am not sleeping well the last 2 nights. Don't know what is causing it besides the fibro. It just happens periodically. But it sure makes for hard days of doing anything.
senior center is closed today and Monday. Taking Mom to store later Then picking up DGK's, take them to McDonalds for supper and give them their Christmas money/ We only get them 1 1/2 hours. Divorce situation, but we are thankful for that 1 1/2 hours.
So no cooking supper tonight. yay
It's 26 out, and we have snow covering the ground, but not a lot. It's supposed to get warmer for the next week, in the high 30's. yay, what a year, but it will be really bad on the lakes and rivers and water tables. We need rain or snow.
OK, no yarn work done yesterday. Probably not today either. Just too tired.
