Your prepared meal was just about the same as the one I bought last Christmas. Never again. I didn't see that Sprout's was offering a prepared dinner this year. I'm not sure our Sprout's has had one before. It is not a real big store here. Even the bakery for bread is very small.

Ann, the prepared meal was not very good. My friend made other foods besides what she had bought and those were Great! My father-in-law and his lady friend brought a Ham and that was much better than the prepared Turkey dinner. In the past we had bought prepared dinners from Sprouts and they were Great. DH said my friend would have been better off if she had bought the meal from Sprouts instead of where she bought it. I did go off and ate what I should not have. However, I am back on track now for Weight Watchers and for the Gluten-Free.
Jan, I bet the Village is beautiful! I love, love, love Lighthouses!
Jan, I bet your village is really pretty. Your DH is funnier than mine. I'm sure DH will put our outside lights up in another week maybe. Old fashion ones that burn up the electricity. I always dread the Jan. elec. bill. DH should not be on a ladder. He can almost do the drive way side of the house with out one but the front of the house peaks so he will need a ladder out there. In the past DD has come and help him.
Louise, how was the purchased Thanksgiving Day dinner? Did they agree they would buy one again or not? Did you find items you could eat o k?
I fixed DH a Costco 1/4 of a pizza for supper and I made cauliflower soup for the both of us.

It'e early evening here and the outside Christmas lights just went on awhile ago - I sure do like them. They are big icicles- much bigger and more real looking than the early versions that came out (and that we went through like no tomorrow because they would whip around in the wind and burn out). DS#2 put up the first part of the Christmas village. It is New England theme with a lighthouse, cannery, navigator shop, and the captain's house. DS#1 is making gravy from the second turkey breast so dinner is on it's way!
Ann, my DH talks more than I do. Sometimes when I ask him a simple yes or no question he says "Well, when we lived up in Portland over on so and so street, it was a Tuesday or maybe it was a Monday and the president that year was.... and he wore a red tie" Lol.
Louise, Good for you getting back on track. You can do it.

Hi Ann and all who will follow! Ann, I like the idea of giving to the Toys for Tots. It is a great program. Well, today has been a relaxing day. I have been trying to get back on eating healthy. I did not do so well on Thanksgiving as I had orginally planned. Well, everyone, please have a Happy and Safe Saturday! GOD BLESS! Louise
It is still cold in our house but boy it is very warm outside. DH and I drove to Sears to look at their fake Ch. trees. They had a lot to choose from but only one caught my eye. It was on a revolving stand that came with it and that didn't appeal to me. Also the lights rotated from all white to colored which wasn't necessary. The lights were bigger than some of the other trees and get this on the colored lights there were a lot of purple ones. Not my favorite color. I know I am weird. So we didn't buy a tree.
Patty, when I came on this site there was a pop up to get Free Knitting Patterns. Knitting Paradise.com You probably alread know about it.
We did buy two toddler gifts for our camping Toys for Tots gift exchange. We exchange the wrapped gifts and then put them all back to be taken to the local Marine Corp drive. I tried to get the gang to do this years ago and could not get them to give up their junky gift exchange. Now with newer member with the old ones that are gone, it is the thing to do.
Am I the only one that has a DH who is slow on the draw. I ask him a question and it seems like 5 minutes later he answers me. This drives me bananas.
We should be doing something today but I don't know what. Not a day that I want to shop. Not that I have any shopping to do. Christmas will be checks again this year.
