I took my mom to wal-mart in a wheel chair so she could do some shopping again. She has a stress fracture in her knee.
Took her to Wendy's to get a frosty. She has 2 temporary teeth in front. I have been putting her food in the food processor, since her the teeth are just glued and she has lost them already once.
Fixed supper. Made chicken breasts with cream of chicken soup on it in the crock pot. It was sure good.
You all have a great Sunday
Sarah, you'll have to let us know how the mystery turns out.
Ann, I hope you're feeling better. I'd love to see that Danish town. Have you been to Poulsbo, WA? I'd like to see that, too.

I'm going to start this as an email. I've lost two posts.
Yesterday was a nice pot luck breakfast with the first half of the group bringing the food. Today the second half brought the breakfast. We've never done this before and it worked out really well. In the afternoon I got celery, Roma tomatoes and green onions cut up for tonight supper. DH and I did take a drive around the four little towns that are clumped together. The next town over is a Danish community. Quite a tourist attraction with many many shops, There is a Mission and several other museum type of places that we've been to before.
Just about the time supper was starting last night I felt like I needed to urinate but couldn't. Well lo and behold a bladder infection or a urinary infection. I have had this once before when we were in Canada traveling. I have been taking an Advil every four hours and it is helping a lot. I'm not uncomfortable but will try and see my doctor on Monday. I already had a Monday dentist app't. I may have to cancel that.
Just about the time we sat down to supper that the camp ground was catering and delivered to the club house for us. The rain started. It poured most of the night. This morning the sun was out again but come noon it clouded up. It could rain again tonight. The club house isn't far but no fun treking back and forth in the rain. Poor DH has made trip after trip carrying stuff over there.
I will be glad to have supper over with.

Are you ready for some football???? LOL Sorry I couldn't stop myself.
Beautiful day here. Supposed to get back up into 80's here this week. Up and down, usually Thanksgiving is cold and Christmas is hot down here. We'll see if that holds true this year.
Well we are having a mystery on our hands the last few days. Gayle (Mom's guardian) got a call from the nursing home wanting to know if it was ok if a mr so and so took my Mom out to lunch. Neither Gayle nor I recognized this person so she called back and told them no. I guess he got insistent but without permission they wouldn't allow it. So we are trying to track down who this person is. I've worked on that this morning and looks like I'll work on it this afternoon. I'm sure it is innocent but you never know. We are siding with caution.
Trying to decide which H.E. potato salad to make today. Probably go to my stand by, All American Potato Salad, and use 1/2 sweet potatoes and 1/2 red potatoes.
Are you cooking today?
Got big plans for today? Whatever you do enjoy!
Have a great day everyone!

The oatmeal is cooking and we're watching a video game our son brought down. It's sort of like watching a movie except he's controlling the action of the main character. It's rainy and cool here. I'm hoping we'll have enough clearing to take a walk at some point and I'd like to go to the Winter Market. DH wants to watch a game at some point today.

It's cold here. and cold up stairs here. I need to get dressed and get downstairs by the fire. I love that expression, by the fire. It makes me think of nice things, and warm bodies, by the fire.
