It's been a gray, cloudy but humid day here today. Awhile ago I checked the mailbox and I could hear dried leaves blowing over the hill. We went grocery shopping. First to a small town grocery where they actually unload your groceries from the cart, bag them up and take them to the car for you. They also are very helpful while you are shopping. They are having a canned goods by the case sale. Then to the Dollar Store and Costco. Tomorrow I'm going to do some cook ahead recipes from Frozen Assets by Deborah Taylor-Hough.
Ann, I hear what you're saying about the mammogram lady. I haven't had one for probably 7 years but there will undoubtedly be one in my future after I see my doctor in October. The first couple of mammograms I had weren't bad and I had no qualms about getting one until I had one here and the technician informed me they were trained that the clamp thing had to be tighter or some such thing. It sure was!
Boy, did I ever have to hussel this morning. I didn't get up until almost 9 and wanted to get my two walks in and also read the paper. Today was hair day. Then to the produce store for a couple of things. I am trying to eat up vegetables that are in the freezer before we take off in the motor home.
Just as I got the grocery bag in the house DD pulled up for her mail. She was on her way for a mammo app't. As she's going out the door she said she hoped she didn't get the lady she had last year. I sure know what she means. We don't even have the same medical service.
Grilled salmon for supper and I'm not sure what will go with that.
