I didn't watch DWTS last night because it's our big NCIS night and it was the premiere - both excellent starts to the new season. Friends were talking about it at lunch, though. I'll have to watch some of it to see what everyone is talking about.

Ann, We've had to watch at automotive shops that they do what was supposed to be done.

Ann, I think it is the soccer player I was saying that I was impressed with. I did not hear what profession she was in. I was also impressed with Ricki Lake. Seems like they have some really good ones this year. I agree--the right one went home.

Louise, I don't recall a skater on DWTS but there is one girl who played soccor. I thought many of them did very well. Yes, I liked Mrs. Baldwin. Can't think of her name that you mentioned. I thought ---- can't think of her name that is on the tip of my tongue, her partner is Darrell Houffman (sp) She use to have a TV show. The right one went home.

I have to get back to exercising. I need to start doing water aerobics again and/or swimming.

Evening,
Walked 1 mile today. Did not need a nap. Went to town with hubby instead.

I am feeling better just from 2 days of walking. I need to remember this when I want to be lazy and not walk...

Hi Ann and all who will follow! Yes, September is flying by quickly and before we know it the holidays will be upon us. I did watch the last hour of Dancing With The Stars last night. I love
Glee so I watched that first then turned to Dancing With The Stars. I was pleasing surprised by some of them. I thought China Philipps was great. Even though Carson cannot dance I enjoyed him. I did not know who some of them were. Is one of the ladies an ice skater? I do not remember her name but I was impressed with her also. I give all of them credit for being on that show. I think sometimes the judges forget the contestants are not professional
dancers. I am not sure if I will watch it every week but I will tune in every once in a while. Well, Monday was a very emotional day for me. Actually it was a very emotional day for my whole family. That is when my friend Suzie's visitation and funernal service was held. My DH was one of the pall bearers. I felt awful because I just fell apart and Suzie's husband was comforting me instead of my comforting him!!!! Friends and family are precious--very precious! A lot of us who attended the service had gone to the small church who closed it's doors a few years back. It was nice seeing all of them again but not under the circumstances. We all said we should have a church reunion under happier circumstances.
Well, my asthma has been knicking in and off these lasts few days. I am sure it has something to do with my emotions and then the weather. We have been getting cool weather (not cold but cool) in the morning and then back to hot in the afternoons. Well, everyone, please have a Great Rest of Wednesday!

By golly this month is going fast. Late this morning I drove DH to pick up the motor home and deliver it to the RV shop for an oil change. They must be one company that is making money as they had RV's lined up as usual. I know the ones that are parked are waiting for parts. While DH was in the office I ate my cottage cheese and peaches and read some of my Readers Digest. Either DH does a lot of chatting or they are just darn slow. Then if DH hadn't looked at the work order he wouldn't have notice they forgot to add a new filter he said he wanted.

Home again and DH has gone to talk to DS AGAIN about his finances. I could type three pages about my venting but I won't bore you. I woke up at 3:30 a.m. and didn't go back to sleep until about 6 when DH got up.

I was going to fix salmon for supper but we'll eat left overs instead. I just love the 1/2# gr. beef recipes that make two meals. Last night I was going to have some steamed cabbage from a bag of shedded I bought. Well I opened it and it was shredded lettuce. Guess I'll have to fix some tacos and I do have the makings. I normally just buy a head of cabbage and slice it up myself.

Jan, I bet the lady with the big lose looked wonderful. How inspiring. I'm happy I don't have that much to lose but it could go away a little quicker.

Anyone watch Dancing With the Stars last night? I think there are some with good potential.
