yeah I changed the monthly message that automatically gets sent out each month. I was hoping it would inspire people to participate more, and seems like it did the trick! It will automatically be sent each month, so hopefully it will help remind people to be active each month. It keeps yahoo from deleting a inactive group.
DH has been playing with his new telephone and Jan he didn't buy the one he set out to get. He was looking at a GE and this one is an AT&T. We haven't had any phone calls since he got it charged up. I'll have to read the book. I hope it doesn't require a preteen to figure it all out.
I finally got the right sewing machine cord today and the company said they credited me the postage on my credit card but I haven't checked the account yet. The postage wasn't much but it ticked me off that the first cord that was sent was not the serial number I ordered.
Then I got an email from the realtor that is 'trying' to sell my mothers house letting me know there was no storm damage. I appreciated her letting me know. She said she has a couple that are going to look at it tomorrow. I sure wish it would sell. I hope is isn't another one wanting the house and the lot it sits on but not the whole acreage.
Supper is going to be left over beets and sweet potatoes and haddock fish. I don't remember cooking haddock before. I will bake it in the oven as I do Orange Roughy when I can find it. Also sliced tomatoes and raspberries and blueberries for dessert.
I see there has been some traffic on Joanna's yahoo Common Folk web site today. It certainly would be nice to see activity there again.
