Boy, Ann, you have the makings for lots of meals. Remember the days when we all got our phones issued by Ma Bell and they were black and were wired into the wall. I think only people in the movies (in those days) had white phones and they seemed so elegant. Now our phones wear out and cost so much more than the - what? $6./month rate we used to pay.
Today I've been housecleaning, went to Ladies Prayer Group and now I'm finishing preparations for TOPS tomorrow.
We have cooled down a degree or two from yesterday. Tomorrow again a couple of degrees cooler.
DH wanted to go to the AT&T store and Costco. I wanted to go to Costco and decided I could put up with him tagging along. We need a new house phone as the battery on one of the phones is getting bad and a new battery costs almost as much as a new phone. The AT&T store doesn't sell house phones. And it is a pretty big store. We looked at them at Costco but DH is still undecided. He's not one to make rapid decisions.
I cooked up some beets today and made up pineapple and sweet potatoes in the small crock pot. I was afraid the potatoes would spoil in the hot garage. I cooked up 7 chicken breasts and cut up some for salads and some shredded. I will freeze them. Then I fixed a rice, chicken and cream cheese dish for supper. I sure made a pile of dishes for DH to wash. I also made bran muffins early this morning before it got too warm.
