Nina, it sounds like your family is keeping you busy.

Ever make a meal that doesn't turn out very good. I wanted to make some stroganoff. I had a package of dry mix, frozen prepared meat balls, and I thought I had enough dry noodles.
I made half a package of the sauce and added the meat balls. I only had 2 1/2 oz. of noodles so added another oz. of linguine. This is the first time I have gotten this package of frozen meat balls and I didn't like them nearly as well as the turkey ones that are bigger. Well, I didn't eat the full serving of calories I was counting so guess I didn't do too bad.

Now for the vegetables. I had two small yellow squash, 1/4 of an onion and about 1/3 of a head of cauliflower. I cooked them up. Then I had a cup of left over cauliflower soup I decided to use as a sauce on the veg. mix. Add about 1 1/2 oz of left over shredded cheese and poured the sauce over the veg. It was pretty good. Have enough left for tomorrow.

DH and I haven't done much of anything all day. I did get 3 one mile walks in. Now DH has gone to the storage yard to get something out of the motor home and then gas up the car.

He and DD and GS were going on a tour of the Guitar factory that the EX DIL works at tomorrow but DD called tonight and said she would have to change the date as she and a friend have been planting a tree ?? at DS house and want to finish the project. Boy she is ambitious. DS had a lot of palm type of trees in the back yard and over the years they were getting pretty scraggly so he had them all taken out. It did look like a jungle out there.

Hi everyone
I guess I did not get away from that cold virus with all the kids sick. DD#2 and I woke up with scratchy throats, and not feeling well.
I worked on computer and was reading a new book. I have not read a book in years. It is fun to get back into them.
Have not done much else today, but take care of my grandkids. Their mom had to go to the store.
Been getting up every morning and fixing breakfast for the kids. With their colds they could not have milk. I have made pancakes, scrambled eggs, and waffles so far.
