Hi everyone

Decided to figure out the sparkpeople nutritional tracker and adding recipes. I still have not figured out how to add my recipes to the cook books I create. I did it before but have to refigure out how it works.

I hope to weigh myself if DD#2 has a scales. I need to update my page and get with it again.
I have not been doing to well eating at all the different family homes I have stayed in. I try but it was hard.

Enjoyed reading everyones posts.

Wouldn't it be something to just have a room for a hobby?! I have a friend who has a room for quilting since her children are all grown. Wow, 1000 quilts!! For a good cause that is wonderful.

Last month I bought a large quantity of ground beef and made a "mix" (from the cookbook "Frozen Assets") that makes several meatloaves, several meals of meatballs and salisbury steaks. If I follow it again I'll just do the meatballs and salisbury steaks. It is so easy to pull a bag out of the freezer and have your meal almost made.

Yikes! The prices at Costco have gone up like everywhere else.

Wonderful news Nina, anything to get his foot in the door.

Jan, the house I was at yesterday, the gal has a room just for her quilting. It is pretty good size too. She belongs to a small quilting group and they mostly make lap size quilts for charity. One project they do is when a military service member is heading out for over seas duty they ask for family pictures. They put the pictures on fabric and integrate them into a quilt for the children. How neat is that. She said last year she and three other women out did themselves with 1,000 quilts for charity. Some are auctioned off for money raising events.
That is nice of you to take your neighbors to shop who no longer can drive. I would not mind doing grocery shopping and/or bank help for seniors. None that dependent in our neighborhood yet.

Two hours until supper time and I am desperate. So I guess it will be spaghetti and meat balls. I use the frozen kind. I do have cut up vegetables to steam.
