Wonderful news Nina, anything to get his foot in the door.
Jan, the house I was at yesterday, the gal has a room just for her quilting. It is pretty good size too. She belongs to a small quilting group and they mostly make lap size quilts for charity. One project they do is when a military service member is heading out for over seas duty they ask for family pictures. They put the pictures on fabric and integrate them into a quilt for the children. How neat is that. She said last year she and three other women out did themselves with 1,000 quilts for charity. Some are auctioned off for money raising events.
That is nice of you to take your neighbors to shop who no longer can drive. I would not mind doing grocery shopping and/or bank help for seniors. None that dependent in our neighborhood yet.
Two hours until supper time and I am desperate. So I guess it will be spaghetti and meat balls. I use the frozen kind. I do have cut up vegetables to steam.
