I see Motivated Mom has some good ideas but many on her list would not pertain to my house. I'm sure that is true of everyone. No kids that I have to read to and with just two in the house many items would not have to be done every day. We sorta do the vacuum, bathroom cleaning and dusting on a once a week basis. The dish washer only gets turned on when it is full or we run out of silver ware. Which ever comes first. One task that needs to be done is dust the base boards (now that we have them) I don't look forward to that. I also need to clean the window screens again. The air always feels so much fresher when that is done.

At least your crochet projects aren't as dull as my stocking caps, Patty. Mixing the colors is the most excited I get with them.

About the Motivated Mom's thing.
A few years ago I ordered this yearlong cleaning schedule.
It is only $4 for a year, but you have to print it out.

I just reuse it over and over, who cares if the dates are not right. They are close. They have Sunday through Sat.
There are different ones that you can ofder.
I ordered the full page one with the bible reference.
You can check them out first in sample pages to see if you want to order it.

Whew, tired out girl here.

Took Mom to the foot dr.
Met hubby for lunch with Mom at McDonalds
Took Mom home
Mel hubby in the orchard to pick tart cherries
Came home and washed and froze 3/4 of the cherries. Need to get more bags, and find more room in the freezers.
Made walnut cookies
tired out.
I will either sit on the porch in the shade or lie down. Not sure which.

Have no idea what is for supper besides the cookies...lol

Good Afternoon. Another nice day with that wonderful breeze.

Patty, I've never heard of Motivated Moms. I remember Fly Lady. I stopped her a long time ago as I could not keep up her schedule. One thing she said to do, I still do to this day. When I get up and leave the bathroom I take the waste basket and empty the one in the living room beside my chair into it and into the trash compactor and then the bathroom waste basket goes back where it belongs. Don't ask me why that stuck but it has. Then I do my first walk of the day in my p j's.

Jan, our DVD player also plays VHS tapes. What I find interesting is the VHS tapes sound is much louder than the DVD's are. When you're hard of hearing things like that are very noticeable.

I've cooked two chicken breasts for a salad for supper. I've still got some tomatoes left from the Costco buy and need to cook up some yellow summer squash. Blueberries and raspberries for dessert. That reminds me I better take a Cool Whip Free out of the freezer as DH like it on his berries.

Good morning ladies,

It's cloudy here this morning. Supposed to reach 65 and possible rain. I'm spending time with a friend who has been in this area for the summer but is returning to her state on Thursday. We always have a great time and never seem to run out of things to talk about.

I'm so glad to say I walked with Leslie last night and will repeat that tonight. A few aches and pains this morning but I haven't done her walking routine for awhile. I need to look out for a VHS player so I can use those, too.

My decluttering/organizing/getting ready for TOPS garage sale is going well but slowly as I look through things and make decisions.

Patty, good job on the walking and cleaning schedule. It was fun reading your meal combinations.

Beautiful day here. breezy, cooler, only 69, and a bit humid. Just got in from my 1 mile walk. Ann, the reason that I do it all at once, is I know that I would never get back out there and do it again. It makes me very sore, and by that time of the day, I am done in.

Stupidly, or smartly, whichever way you look at it, I also started the cleaning schedule from Motivated Moms yesterday. I did everything on it except the vacuuming(hubby does this for me) and cleaning the oven. Hubby did that for me too. But I did everything else on the list...yay.

We have been having some weird combos in our evening eating. Remember cleaning our the frig, freezer and pantry.
Sunday night we had oven baked shrimp(hubby buys this, I don't) blueberries and toast with pb and homemade jam.
Last night we had blueberry pancakes and pork loin chops.
Both meals were very good, but weird together.
This is fun.

Have a blessed day girls.
I need to take Mom to the foot dr. later this morning.
Then home. It would be nice if I could get today's cleaning done before I go, but we shall see on that.

Still sweating, and it was really nice out. I wonder if it is because of me being weak from doing NOTHING for so long. Could be.
