Sorry I have been away so long. Had to back off on the message boards as we were traveling, going to rallys and then trying to catch up on all we got behind on here in the motorhome. Love being a fulltime RVer, but it gets hectic sometimes. Have seen a lot so far this summer... NY; VT; ME; NH; MA and now we are in Hershey, PA where we have settled in for 2 weeks to catch our breath and just relax. The heat index here yesterday was 115 degrees, so we were inside with the AC running all day. I get up at 5AM to walk and it is still warm at 75 degrees.
Went to Hershey Chocolate World here......along with hundreds of other people! It was very interesting and we learned a lot about how they make the various chocolate products. Couldn't get any to send back to the grandkids because of the heat, so sent Kisses magnets instead. The countryside here is awesome....hundreds of acres of rolling hills covered with cornfields. We are in Pa. Dutch country and the farms here are immaculate. The barns are gleaming white with a lot of local stonework which match the stone houses. There isn't one farm that has any rusting equiptment in the yards. I'm from a farming community and I've never seen such beautiful farms.
Well, off to make a cold veggie pizza to snack on for meals today. Done with cresent roll dough spread on a cookie sheet, baked, then spread with a mixture of lite cream cheese, dry ranch dressing and lite mayo and then topped with your choice of chopped veggies. Healthy and cool to eat on a hot day. Love it.
Stay cool everyone.........Judy

I'm glad to tell you we were able to bring Sweetie Pie home. They want to see her next week to make sure everything is okay. They think she has colitis. Since she came home she has been starting at the slightest sound and concerned if anyone is making noise in the next room. I don't think she enjoyed her overnight at the vets.
Troy and I are working on a plan to get the yard work done. He knows more about it than I do but I think a joint effort will work.
We had salisbury steak tonight (one of the multi-meal cook aheads I did awhile back) and kale from the garden.
Evening Girls, We had spaghetti again tonight. Tomorrow I start to cook again. I will work my way down into the depths of my freezer. Eating whatever meat is on the top and going down from there. I think pork loin is the first thing. I miss everyone that used to post all the time. Maybe it is just too hot or too busy for everyone this summer. New pics on my blog. Patty
It's a gorgeous day here, too. The sun is out and it's 70 degrees. I've been preoccupied with Bruce's on-going back problems and my cat, Sweetie Pie, who is at the vet with some kind of intestinal problems. So I'm not lolling around at the beach today.
Ann, that tuna recipe sounds good. What is the dressing? Hooray for the walking with Leslie.
Another beautiful breezy day. I wish every day would be like the last week has been. Temps between 70 and 75. I have walked with Leslie again this morning, three times. That's a total of 3 miles. Easy when the weather is on the cooler side. DH is taking our mail box apart and going to paint it. I hope he can find a place to do that out of the breeze and not on the grass. Last time he spray painted something on the grass, it killed the gas in that area.
I have found a tuna salad recipe with apple, raisens and pineapple that will be for supper.
I sure hope Paulissa makes plane connects to their vacation destination. Sounds like they are going to Canada.
