Good Evening. First chance I've had to get on the computer. Nice to see you Heather.
I did the every other Monday grocery shopping. I barely was in the commissary when an employee walked up to me and asked me if I had a son named Dennis. Yes, I do. She proceeded to tell me that she sees me often and today finally got up the courage to ask me about him. She said she had lived two streets up and was in the same class as him. Now I wonder if my kids will believe me again when I tell them I am 39. That is a family joke I kept at for years.
Today they had Carnation non fat powdered dry milk. It was in a small bag but a good start. Now they sell three different brands of powdered milk. When I went by the customer service station I thanked the fellow and showed him the bag.
When I got home DH was home from his volunteer shop cleaning and on the computer. His account has been hacked into and this is the second time his address book has about 100 added addresses he's had to erase. It keeps him out of trouble.
Patty, glad you are feeling better today. I took one my 50% off coupons to Michaels and got a large skein of Carron brand yarn. They didn't have the pound size of Red Heart that Wal Mart has in a few colors. The Carron felt very soft. I still have three more coupons so will try to get a couple more of the large skeins. Not that I need more yarn but a bargain is a bargain not to be wasted.
My internet has been spotty for nearly a month cause of the storms here. But, I'm working on my recipe review site again. I added the recipe for KFC coleslaw from March 1999. And a couple of other recipes as well. I'm working on getting all the recipes transferred from recipe circus to blogger. I also had a few pages that still needed to be updated from HTML to XML and finished that too. Now I have about 20 pages left to transfer from recipe circus (many many recipes for each of those pages! lol) I think it will be done in about 3 weeks if I can get a better connection! UHG!
