Nina, I know that is one worry off your shoulders that your dad will have 24 hour care. I'm sure they realized your mother wasn't able to give him the care he needs at home. I hope the family realizes that too. You must be getting pretty good at the back and forth between two houses. It is good that you have your daughters for support during this tough time.
Louise, my thoughts and prayers go out to your family during this difficult time. Your FIL is going to need lots of support in the coming weeks.
It is a lovely day and I'm been doing odds and ends around the house. There are always misc. things to do. I've decided we will have the last frozen container of Friendship Soup for supper. That recipe makes so much it is great for planned ahead meals. Pretty soon it will be too warm for soup suppers so I'm trying to eat up those from the freezer. Yesterday I did get to Costco and bought blueberries and strawberries. So yummy.
Just wanted everyone to know that the meeting went well at the home for my dad. He will go in long term Tuesday. Pray for us all as it was hard on us and him to have to do this, but it is best for his 24hr care and my mother. Going to daughter # 2 today for a week then back to my moms for another week. Will most likely be pretty busy this next week. Have a great week-end. Nina
