ALL OF YA'LL ARE IN MY PRAYERS.
We are having a meeting on Thursday to evaluate my dad at the rehabilitation home. Pray the doctor will say we can not take care of him without 24 hr care. We need that to put him in long term care. My mom just can not do it or me and my sister either. We cannot lift him as he can not do it now.
Also my mother went to doctor and now the other knee has to be replaced and she is moving with a walker, so there is no way she can take care of dad at home.
went yard saleing and got some books and some clothes that I can wear. Mainly winter ones but some nice ones. Hoping to find a yard sale with some summer clothes as I will be here through June now.
Will be here longer as my D#1 is going to have to have her gall bladder out in June and to help out my mother with her bad knee. She just got the other one replaced a year ago.
We went to the Oakdale Chocolate Festival today and had a good time.
read everyones replys and enjoyed it.

HI PAT , I'M NEW WITH SPARK PEOPLE AND STILL FIGURING OUT SOME OF THE STUFF. I DO HAVE PICTURES OF SOME OF MY PROJECTS BUT NEED TO DOWN LOAD THEM. CHECK OUT MY PAGE AND BECOME A FELLOW PROJECT PERSON WITH ME. HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON.
Do you have a blog where I could see your knit and crochet projects?
A fellow yarn user, yay, I'm not alone here...lol
Welcome to the group.
Sunny and beautiful in WV today!! I have enjoyed the pretty day sooo much. I got to put my laundry outside to dry. It always smells so nice when I do that.
I also got to sweep and mop and pick up a bit today. So the house looks better.
We are supposed to have a planned power outage tomorrow from 8 am until 3 pm. So no electricity to do things with.
I remember the cabbage soup diet from a few years ago. It was a soup made with cabbage, tomatoes, green beans and a few other things. It was very restrictive. You could just eat certain things on certain days. I don't think it would be a lifetime plan at all. So I don't know how beneficial it would actually be.
Have a good day everyone!
No rain in So. Cal. It was dark and dreary all morning and then the sun came out this afternoon. Should stay in the mid 60's. I love it.
Another knitter here.
Snoopy, I don't know much about a cabbage diet. Weight Watchers always had a cabbage soup as part of their recipes. Cabbage soup is generally made of broth and vegetables so almost no calories but very filling.
Patty, don't feel bad about not starting the recipes on the 30/30 cookbook. Start them when you can and let us know how they turn out. I always appreciate others pros and cons and what they might have changed in a recipe.

HEY PAT, IT'S RAINING HERE AND ABOUT 60*
I ALSO KNIT AND CROCHET.
Whew, it's hot and humid here today, 77 degrees. mercy, going from the 50's to the 70's in one week. It's supposed to be in the high 70's through Monday. Not sure after that.
Well, I won't be able to go shopping for a bit. Will need to eat the food that we already have, so won't be able to do 30 Meals, 30 Minutes for a while. Sorry girls, I started this, and now I can't do it. But soon, I will.
I am knitting away today.
Walked 1/4 mile, and will walk another 1/4 mile when it cools off a bit tonight.
I have the fan running downstairs. I do not want to turn the air conditioner on yet, too early. I will open some windows tonight, and let in some cooler air, then close them in the morning. I forgot last night.
Not sure what hubby will want for supper. We shall see.
Have a great evening girls.
