Nina, I will be praying that your husband will find a job in CA. I will pray that you don't get stressed out but I understand how hard it is not too when you have so much going on.

Hi everyone
????Has any one heard from Gypsy???

Had a BBQ at my brothers for mothers day.

Then my mom went back to see my dad and stayed all night and would not go home this morning. Concerned she will get too wore out.
My dad is not doing well and maybe she just wants to be there with him.

I am at my daughters after 4 days going with mom to hospital and cleaning and fixing her meals. Trying to get some laundry done while my sister is with my mom now.
It is cool here today and windy.
My honey is trying to find some job here in Ca. My 2 daughters, my family, and my honeys mother lives here. There are so many more things to do here. While he was here in CA he was too sick to go home and as a result lost his job in AZ.

PLEASE PRAY HE CAN FIND A JOB.

Trying not to stress out from all of that is going on, but it is not always easy to do.

I have lost weight as there are so many foods I cannot eat. I just try to eat what I know I can have.
Hope you all are doing good. I think about all of you, but just do not have time right now to chat too long, so just put in a post when I can.

Happy Mothers day,
It is sunshine and 73 degrees here today.
Daughter called, son stopped over this morning.
At noon, we met another son for lunch
another son is having us over for supper.
no cooking today

Someone is here now, hopefully buying a bike.
Then we will go to Mom and take her a hanging basket of geraniums.

I love geraniums and petunias for summer here at the house. They are so showy, especially petunias. We put them in our planter boxes, and hang the geraniums, 2 in front, and 2 in back.

I will be tired out tonight, but full of good food.
Italian for lunch, pizza for supper...

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL

I think DS worked on the computer but it doesn't seem to be spelling any better. DH is fixing breakfast as all three of the kids will be here shortly for breakfast. I guess that means I better get dressed.

Our plan for the day is to got to the top of Mount Soladad and out to the Point Loma Light House. Both offer excellent views of the coast line and city. I have my doubts that we are going to see much as it is very overcast and a sprinkles may follow. There is a library that is suppose to be open this afternoon that has a collection of wood carving on display. #1DS is a wood carver so we thought he would enjoy that. II have a beautiful bowl, plate and tooth pick holder that he has made. He leaves for home in N. C. tomorrow morning.

After we take DS to the air port we will pick up our motor home for a camp out in the Palm Springs area. We will leave Wed. home on Sun. Yes, it is going to be hot over there.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Hi Everyone

I hope you mothers have a special day today. There are so many wonderful memories of my Mom and her kind ways. There was something about her that drew people to her.

My day will be quiet. I want to read and hopefully watch a movie. I watched The Day After Tomorrow. Suspenseful. I really enjoyed it.

Not sure about cooking yet. I just cut up a melon that is sweet as sugar. I don't think I've ever eaten one so sweet. Love this time of year and the sweet cantaloupes and other melons it brings.

Jan enjoy your time with friends today, it really sounds like a nice day. How are your sons doing?

Hope everyone one is looking forward to a peaceful day filled with family and friends.

Good morning ladies,

Even if we aren't mothers we all have one.

The sun is peeking out today and that's nice. We are expecting more rain. DH & I are about to leave to Portland area to meet up with friends for a Mothers Day breakfast at the church we used to go to.

What does your day look like and do you have any special memories of Mom?

My Mom remembered birthdays and anniversaries for almost everyone she ever knew. When I talked to her on the phone she often said whose birthday was coming up that week even if I'd never met them. At her memorial service many of the people who came told me they first realized Mom wasn't doing well when she forgot their birthday that year. It was a sweet thoughtful thing she did.
