Good Afternoon All. I got a hair cut today and now have been loading up the motor home. We don't have to take much as most of the meals are either eaten out or fixed by the wagon master. We'll be home again on Sunday.
It is a very nice day here. Perfect weather. I bet it will be a tad hotter the next few days at the camp ground. It is just the north of L.A.
Judy, I hope you enjoy your tour of the Escape park there in Livingston. Did you stop in the Texas Hill Country? Maybe a little early for the blue bonnets to be in bloom. We lead a caravan there and spent two weeks in the Hill Country plus a few days in Austin. I also love Galveston Island. We have not been there in the RV but spent time there in a time share before we started RVing. You will love the coastal drive. I'm sure you will see some damage from Katrina. The area in Miss. where the Air Force base is that had all the big mansions along the beach road I'm told have all been destroyed. I think it is Biloxi I'm thinking of. The military base in New Orleans has a nice famcamp. It is over the bay from the city. You'll find lots of military bases along to coast line to stop at.
I got my penny H E cookbook today. Easy and Economical. Looks brand new. I'll have fun reading it later. GS has a baseball game tonight so we will be off to that shortly.
