Patty, P B 2 is a powdered peanut butter. They take the peanuts and grind it to a powder and remove 85% of the fat. It is made and sold by Bell Plantation. Go on their web site and you can read about it. They also have a store directory and lots of recipes. It has been out a couple of years now and I find it in the local grocery stores.
You can add water to make it spreadable, or just mix it dry in pudding mixes, and other recipes where peanut butter is just for flavoring. I really like it.

What is P B 2?
Patty, I haven't made that recipe and it's too bad it didn't turn out good. Your solution to save it was great.

Patty, that sounds wonderful. I try and stay away from the peanut butter desserts as I can't leave them alone. In fact I stay away from the pies, cheesecakes etc. I wonder how the P B 2 would work in the frosting for flavoring. As a flavor probably o k but you probably needed the bulk to thicken the frosting. I keep forgetting I have P B 2. I'm now keeping it in the refrig.

I made the Peanut Butterscotch Bars from Kids in Mind. I didn't care for it.
Too dry and not sweet at all. Has anyone else made this? How did you like it?
So I thought and I thought, what could I do to fix it?
So I made peanut butter frosting JoAnna style to spread on top. Yum
Have any of you ever made that Peanut Butter Frosting? It is in the desserts cookbooks.
1 instant vanilla pudding mix
2/3 cup dry milk powder
1 cup water
Then add 1/2 cup cool whip, and 1/3 cup peanut butter. Mix those both in and frost whatever. This is just wonderful...
