Jan....I tell everyone that I have a valentine birthday because I'm such a sweetheart.....not sure anyone believes that though!! Had pizza for hubbys B-day last night and am still down a little this AM. Hope it last through weigh-in tomorrow.
Will take 2 walks today...maybe it will help.
I have a great meatloaf recipe that has swiss cheese and salami rolled up in the middle. Not very low-cal though. Only make it for potlucks so we can have one piece and not have any left-overs.
Great day to all........Judy

Good Afternoon Ladies, I also did a little grocery shopping today. I'm like Judy, if it's on sale I will buy. I don't have a storage problem either here at home. DH and I have been keeping our eyes out for bargains to take to the local food pantry.
All you snow bound people, I wish I could send you just an hour of our sun and your snow would be melted. It is 75 here and at the Marine base I know it was a lot warmer. DH is off to take GS to baseball practice. The first of the spring baseball team. Yesterday he played in the winter team. I guess that one is winding down.
How does meat loaf sound for dinner one day this week? I copied and posted in the beef, ham and pork catagory in our Recipe Forum over 50 meat loaf recipes. Probably more. I'm still seeing a few more pages of recipes with ground beef or turkey. Many of the recipes use only a 1/2 pound of meat so a real budget stretcher as well as calorie saver.

Well, you and I are on the same page.....I have spent 2 days going through all my clipped recipes, recipe books and the ones I have stuffed here and there. Glad to say, I finally have it done!! Then I planned a 2 week menu and the grocery list for the first week, went through our little pantry in the MH and pulled out a lot to use this week. I have to stop buying groceries when I see them on sale, as I don't have the room to do that anymore. I have enough food in this MH to last for a couple of months.....want to get so I buy just what I need for the weeks menus.
Was surprised at the number of JoAnn Lund recipes I had clipped out of her newsletters from years ago.....felt like old friends!!
Now it's into town for DH pizza birthday dinner....his is 2/7 and mine is 2/14. Hope I don't gain this week or next!
Have a great day......Judy

Our youngest son was here for the weekend but had to return yesterday. Today is his birthday. We had a nice weekend.
I'm on my Monday morning routine of housework and going through the pantry to plan some meals from what I have on hand. I've got a yen for Mandarin Coconut Salad or is it Coconut Mandarin? I think I have the ingredients I need.
Praying for our sweet Sarah to get well and come to visit with us.
