I'm tired and lazy today but WILL get a workout done before the day is done. I have to go and get the inside brussel sprouts going and into the oven. They are like meatballs, but you stuff a brussel sprout into the middle. Good stuff, even for me who doesn't normally care for brussel sprouts. Talk with you later.

Hi Girls,
I only have a moment but just wanted to check in. I will have to play catch up on everyone. We have been without phone and internet service since Sat. Comcast was suppose to fix the problem yesterday well they said they tried to call but couldn't get through, well gee try we had no phone service!!! They said that hadn't been on the report so anyway here I be! I will write more later after reading up on everyone.

Yeah, I got ambitious and did some dusting. When you can write your name on the glass coffee table it is time to dust. DH doesn't mind vacumning but like most men doesn't dust.

I also made some pumpkin muffins with a yellow cake mix, can of pumpkin, Eggbeaters and cinnamon chips. They are o k. I think my Brownie Bran Muffins are so much better. This is the first time I've used the cinnamon chips. They are just o k too. Chocolate is better.

Sarah, we're home.

Paulissa, you are smart not to lift the bread machine. I know they are heavy. I have one and never use it. I think we put it in the garage. The few loaves that actually came out tasting good, only lasted one meal and I don't need that.

Toni, I hope you DH is feeling better. Yesterday was my DH day at the doctors. Just a check up but they did xray his ankle. He bumped it a while back and is still sore, causing him to limp and now his hip hurts. No word yet on the xray results.

I am making gluten free banana gingerbread muffins in a little bit, as soon as my ingredients reach room temperature. I was going to make a loaf of GF bread, but forgot to have David lift the bread maker onto the counter for me so that will have to wait.

hi girls,

patty, i wish you well on your physical today. i dont like them either. great job paulissa on the weight loss. i am glad that you are feeling better.

well, it is raining today and it is on the cool side also. i took my son-in-law into town this morning. it took a lot longer than i expected but i am home now. i have a load of wash in the washer and one in the dryer. i think i might take a nap. i overslept last night and was late for work.

Hi Everyone!

It is sunny and a tad windy here today. I haven't looked at the weather so not sure if there is a rain coming in on the coattails of the wind.

Paulissa your winter must be here to stay. 37 is snowing temperature where I came from. Great job on your weight loss!

Patty the physical doesn't sound like fun but they are a necessary evil. What are you cooking today?

Ann thanks for my award! I'm probably the warmest again today. I hope everyone is getting sunshine. Are you on the road?

Yesterday I changed my cooking in mid stream. Insead of WW Zero point soup I made minestrone. It is basically the same soup with kidney beans and a few scraggly whole grain spaghetti strands. Oh yes I added okra, tastes so good in soup.

Cyndy it sounds like you are busy as ever. I hope you get your horse's leg all fixed up.

Jan I know you and your son must be frustrated over his check. It just feels like your stomach drops to the ground when things like that happen.

Judy where are you in your travels?

Shar where are you? Hope you and DH are doing great!

Louise I read that you are looking for a KIA. I have had my KIA since 1999 and no problems. Good luck car hunting/shopping. Hope you and your family are doing good.

Glenna I laughed at your comment about cooling off to the mid 70's and making soup! Your are too funny! Enjoy your snowy days.

Good morning friends,

It is a sunny but cold morning here. 37 degrees! I haven't accomplished much yet this morning and am getting there.

I am pleased to report that I now down 5 lbs from my pre-surgery weight! I'm pretty happy about that. I'm liking the way I'm eating better too! I just feel better overall.

Not much going on today: a workout in a bit, work on the blogs,I might make some gluten-free carrot cake later, and preparing for my checkup tomorrow.
