Paulissa you are in my prayers. Praying for guidance for your surgeon and fast healing for you. I'm sure you are looking forward to all of this being over!

Other than work (I will notify them Monday), all of my other commitments know that I will unavailable for meetings, etc until mid-December. I can do research for legislation, etc and things via e-mail but otherwise I am not available.

Paulissa, I certainly will be praying for you. I had a comple hysterectomy done years ago and it turned out to be the best thing for me. I will be praying for wisdom and God's Guidance for the surgeon. I will also be praying for a speedy, healthy recovery for you. I know that you are such a busy person but please take the time to really recover. Your health comes first before any commitments. GOD BLESS! Louise
The surgery is November 2nd. It would have been sooner but I wanted to be able to go out and do something for my birthday and to have time to make arrangements for my class and all of my commitments, etc.

Paulissa, When is your surgery scheduled? I am so sorry that you have to have this done, but many have also. I had a complete hysterectomy in '91. Never looked back. It turned out fine.
Praying that it is soon, so you won't have to suffer anymore with this problem.
How miserable for you to have had this problem for so long. I wish you a speedy recovery. I'm sorry you have to wait so long to have the surgery though.

Good afternoon,
I just returned from the gynecologist's office after 6 straight months of bleeding following the oopharectomy. The Lupron and then the low-dose birth control pills did not control the bleeding, nor did any other treatment. We are now at the point of full abdominal hysterectomy, which is scheduled for Nov. 2nd. After a full year of dealing with this issue, it is time to move forward.
