What a beautiful day we are having. About 75, sunny and a slight breeze. We drove into town and walked the outlet mall. DH bought a pepper mill to replace the one at home that isn't working too well. I bought a roll of freezer plastic for my Food Saver machine. Then we had lunch out. At one beach cover there were about 10 huge kites flying in the air. These were very big big ones and so pretty.
I love these cooler nights as I sleep longer in the morning.
Shar, I think that is terrible you have to wait some more for your DH test results. Search the web using the word gophers. There are a bunch of web sites that might give you some helpful information.
Patty, I hope your DH does come home on Sunday. Is he feeling better?
Tomorrow we shall move south again.

They are now saying Sunday for hubby to come home. yay for Sunday. Can hardly wait to get him home. It will be better for me that's for sure, for our little animals, and for hubby. Sometimes I think that he thought that he would not come home at all.
I didn't get much sleep last night, so am going to bed now. I will turn the tv on, but will probably fall asleep soon.
Shar, I don't think you are impatient. When you're wanting medical results and you're told "this week" then it's upsetting to be put off til later. I'm sure there's a reason but sometimes the medical people need a reality check for what it's like to be on the other side - waiting and concerned.
We have had what my son calls chickories (sp?) but one year my cat wiped out the poor little babies and she even had the nerve to bring them home to show us. Since then they stay farther down in the woods but I can hear them calling sometimes. They have a funny little scolding sound. Once when we were camping there were chipmunks and they drove our dog nuts getting into things.
Sarah, They consider 129 to be very good. He was 220 and I've heard most like it under 200.
I'm about to make some zucchini bread with some huge zucchini a friend gave me. I found a recipe on Taste of Home.

It is overcast here so maybe we will get some much needed rain. Still have the heat and humidity hanging on.
Cindy no need to apologize about mixing up the days. I do it all the time! It just made me stop and wonder if I really knew what day of the week it actually was!!!
Shar I think we are all sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear from your DH test. Enjoy your weekend.
Patty I hope you are getting some rest this weekend. Hopefully your DH will be home this weekend.
Jan I'm not sure about cholesterol numbers, the 129 sounds good though, is it? I'll be over for meatloaf muffins!!!! Sounds very good.
I hope everyone else is making plans for a great, relaxing weekend!
Shar you are going to have to call Billy the Exterminator!!! Sorry I couldn't resist. It is a show I keep seeing advertised on tv, so when I saw your animal issues I thought about it!!
I hope everyone has a relaxing, fun weekend!
Catch Ya Later
Hi Cindy and everyone,
Cindy we will forgive you for the mix up. LOL, I can certainly see how that happens with you working nights. I hope you get plenty of rest.
Patty, so happy to hear your hubby will be coming home. That is a lot for you to be driving everyday. I hope things get back to normal for you real soon. You have had so much to deal with but you need to take care of you too! Ok, done preaching!
So the waiting continues here. Hubby called to get the results and once again, nothing!!!! Now it's call Tues. They first were to have them by this last Tues, then today and now next Tues. Just too impatient I guess.
We will go to the lake in the morning. Not a very nice day here. It was so hot yesterday and today it's very windy, I guess a cold front getting ready to come in. Wish it would rain.
Do any of you have a problem with gophers or chipmunks I think they are called. They are cute, but they are everywhere even in our garage and I see their holes all around the house. I just wondered of a way to get rid of them.
Well I should get. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I hope it will be nice where you are.
Hi to Sarah, Ann, Jan, Glenna, Louise, Gypsy, Paulissa, and whoever might pop in and drop a line to us here. Take care girls!

(((Cindy))) That's what I thought happened. You are one busy lady.
I was up in the night for a bit& went back to bed and just got up awhile ago. It's time to make the oatmeal.
We might get a few good days and there's a lot to catch up on outside. Today I'm getting the guestroom ready.
I made the meatloaf muffins yesterday and there's enough for a meal on the weekend. Need to see if anything needs picking from the garden.
How is your Friday going?
