Lots of messages today. Sure is great to hear from all of you. I stayed home today. I am still in my pajamas...isn't that awful. I had a nice relaxing day just staying home, crocheting afghan squares and watching Christian movies on tv.
Tomorrow we have our taxes done in the morning, then lunch at senior center, then take Mom shopping.
That will be my day tomorrow. I may have to make a trip to town also tomorrow night, as I am selling something for my grandson, and they may want to pick it up from Traverse tomorrow or Wed. night.

Have a blessed evening all. I did not get pics taken today. It will have to wait I guess.

I did wash the outside of the bottom cupboards this weekend. Did I tell you that already? but thats all I accomplished this weekend.

Ann, I have been wondering how Heather is also. I do wish we would hear from her. Cindy, I think it is great that your granddaughter is working on the quilt with you. Sarah, it is raining here in Arizona. Well, off and on that is. I really wish the rain would go away and not come back for a long time. I miss sunny Arizona. I honestly feel one gets depressed with the rain and feels better with sunshine. I may be wrong but that is the way I feel.
I know I get down with the rain. Looking back on it, I don't know how I survived all those years in Massachusetts with the rain, snow, cold and humidity in the summer. Tomorrow is my birthday and I will spend the morning with DH and DD before DH goes to work for the second shift. Even though he has worked second shift for years now--the job he has now and the job he got laid off from last December, I am still not used of the second shift. At least he has Saturdays and Sundays off. The job he had for 17 and an half years he also had Fridays off. At least he is working so we are Blessed. Our friend just got laid off from his new job. I wonder when the economy will be getting better. They say it is but I don't see it. Well, again, everyone, please HAVE A VERY BLESSED AND WONDERFUL SUNDAY!

good Afternoon. Today has been a mixture of clouds, wind, shower and sun and repeating again. At least with the showers we don't get flooded gutters and backed up sewers. Tomorrow is suppose to be the same. Sure wish this didn't come all in one month but spread it out over the summer too when we really need it.

Louise, it's too bad your bakery can't bake a mix of
gluten free and regular bake goods. That would make the most sense to me. Is that a problem with the baking process?

Patty, I know your DM must enjoy the car rides you take her on. A few years ago when DH would drive mother and I to sight see, he was driving her 1971 Mercedes. I don't think she saw the scenery at all as she would keep her eyes on the speedometer. Probably thinking he wasn't driving in the right gear. It was a stick shift car with no power steering. She gave the car to the couple that help her and in the winter they store it in her garage. I don't even think he drives it much.

Sarah, I also am getting tired of cooking. Mostly trying to find something different to fix that I have the ingredients for. Yes, I generally make a list of what I need when I go shopping and then a couple of weeks later, wonder what did I buy this jar of ??? for. It would be easier if DH could eat more salad and more green vegetables. His veg. list is limited with his blood thinning meds. The ones he can eat are the ones I should not be eating, like potatoes, corn, winter squash etc. As W W would say the #4 vegetables.

Cindy, the quilt you are making, is it all by hand or are you doing a machine quilt? That is wonderful that your GD likes working on it with you. I think the hardest part of making a quilt would be the fabric shopping and trying to pick out colors and prints that all go together.

Jan, I just know the little girl will love the doll you are taking for her. What a lovely thing to do. My LF in Fl. had her house burn down a couple of years ago and what a terrible thing to go through. She had spilt some grease in the kitchen and mopped it up with towels. She thought she rinsed out the towels really well before she put them in the washing machine but after the washing machine washed them she put them in the dryer and caught fire in the dryer.

I've read and read most of the morning. Are you ladies finding fresh strawberries in your stores yet? DD bought some for me today that were on sale and they are huge. They would be perfect for dipping in chocolate. (bad idea, Ann) I wanted them to add to salad greens. I did get some Brownie Bran Muffins made for the freezer.

I sure wish we'd hear from Heather and Randella. It has been a long time. I believe Heather's baby is due in March.

Our nice sunny days turned cloudy with some expected rain later today. Rain is always nice here so no complaints.

I've lost this post three times. GRRR Nice long post too! lol I guess the posting fairy wasn't happy with my post.

Jan it is wonderful you had the dolls to help the girl replace the ones she lost. Fires are just so devastating.

Patty you need to take some time for you. It is hard when all the responsibility for another rests on your shoulders. Sometimes we need to take a quick deep breath and rest before plunging ahead.

Louise you are just a bundle of energy! My post disappeared too!

Cindy I want to learn to piece and quilt a quilt so bad. The pieced quilts are so beautiful. That is such a great project for you and your gd.

No cooking today! Just didn't feel like cooking. Lunch was cereal, I just couldn't make myself get interested in cooking.

hi everyone! it certainly is a sunny sunday. the temp is up to 50 degrees. it is so wonderful but soon to come to an end. tomorrow we are getting almost an inch of rain. add that to the shrinking foot and a half of snow and we are going to have a mess. not looking forward to it at all!

after church my hubby and i walked a little over a mile around the neighborhood. it has just been a wonderful day. i reckon you all can tell i love sunshine and warm temps!

yesterday we had 2 grandgirls here. one is 14 and the other is 15 months. we have them every weekend. they are so much fun. the older one and i are working on a king-size quilt. it is half done. it has been quite an undertaking but it has been alot of fun doing this together.

i put the baby in the stroller and took my walk. she fell asleep half the way through. she does so many cute things. she loves my husband [her pop-pop].

Good Morning Jan, Patty and all who will follow. I made a long post and I am not sure what happened. When I went to post it, it disappeared! Oh well, so I hope this does not disappear. Jan, I will get copies of the games Sabrina did at the bridal shower and I will SPARKMAIL them to you. This probably will not be a long post as I cannot honestly remember what I posted. I have been exercising daily. I just have not been posting it. I have been dancing to my CD's. I am also getting back to doing my Leslie Sansone's Walking DVD's, Richard Simmons DVD's and my Dancing Workouts DVD's. Well, everyone, please have a Very Wonderful and Blessed Sunday!

Morning Jan and all to follow,
Jan, your weather sounds wonderful. It is 32 and sunny, supposed to be up to 35 today. The driveway even has dirt spots in it...course that's cause hubby plows it and keeps it pretty thin, but it does show that it is slowly melting.

Our weather Jan, will be like yours in April. I am wanting spring to come quickly, and as the days go by so fast, it won't be long at all for that.

My brother and his wife are in Oregon visiting with our western relatives. That would be my Dad's brother and his family out there. They left on Thursday and will be home on Tuesday.

The stress of having the full control of Mom is getting to me. I think I may go back to bed. I am exhausted. Not due to physical activities, but to stress. Oh to be healed of my fibro. Now that would be something to celebrate.

I may go down and pick up Mom and take her for a ride around the lake. but I need more energy first. Doesn't that sound nice? We would go around the lake, then go and sit at the Frankfort pier and watch the boats go by hopefully. There used to be a lot of boats going by, but they seem to stay out farther in Lake Michigan than they used to do. Of course, those big ships used to come in the harbor between Frankfort and Elberta, but things aren't shipped that way much for here anymore.

I sure hope my brother is having a super time out west. They must be having the same weather as you Jan. I think they are in Portland.

Well, I need to do some embroidery on a hat later today. Then I will get pics up on my blog. I will let you know, but it will be sometime later today.

Louise, sure hope those people can open up a gluten free bakery somewhere close to you. Now wouldn't that be nice.

It is so pleasant to see the sunrise and the mountains in the distance. I don't have much of a view but if I stand at the window and look between the house nextdoor and the one behind them - I see a blue mountain range on a clear day and it always makes my heart glad. It's up to 39 now and should reach 55.

I feel so much better today. Today I'll bring a snack bar to have between church and sunday school to keep my bg steady. I'm looking forward to it. Our pastor's son is an excellent Sunday School teacher. Also I am bringing two bisque dolls to give away to a young girl who lost her collection in a house fire.
