Ann, Thankfully we missed out on those high winds. The tv coverage I saw of that was in the Columbia River Gorge which frequently gets high winds. We used to know people who lived in Troutdale (at the foot of the Gorge) who couldn't use their front doors during high winds. I'm watching a beautiful sunrise right now.

Jan, That is awful about your sister's grandson. I think the girl could have waited until after his birthday. She could have at least called him and tell him not to come. What an awful way to remember his birthday by. Beverly, I did not think East Texas got that cold but then again we were having cold weather for this part of Arizona. Ann, I am sorry that you got sick from the cleaning stuff. However, I understand because there are cleaners we cannot use because they make me sick and also DD because of her asthma. Well, everyone, please have a very restful and peaceful night. GOD BLESS! Louise
woke up this morning to 11 degrees on our backporch....this may not seem unusual for some of you, but I live in East Texas....Huntsville, to be exact, and that is the coldest I can remember ever being anywhere I have lived...it is 23 right now at 9:30 at night, so don't know where it is going tonight...but, they say next week we will be in the 60's...haha..this afternoon we got some cold drinks from our garage and drank them right off the shelf and they were as cold or colder than when we get them from the fridge...
Jan, when I was younger seems like a boy friend or two would break up just before Christmas and I always thought that was so they didn't have to by a Ch. present. Are you having the high winds that were shown on our news tonight?
Our sky tonight was so red as the sun was setting it looked like the sky was on fire.
The chair and the nap won out this afternoon. DH & I were talking about getting together with my sister and her husband and grandson tomorrow after church when she called to tell me they were back home. It was granson's 18th birthday and they were here so he could have dinner with his girlfriend. Well, she broke up with him! Couldn't that have been done on the phone and some other day than his birthday? He was very upset so they packed up and stayed at another place in Portland area and then got home this morning. Louise, I'm so glad Sabrina is able to get up and walk about and it's bound to be she will feel better. Good for you doing your dancing and walking. Ann, Too bad the cleaner stuff made you feel sick. It sounds like you are ready to roll again.
Good Evening all. I had to come to the computer room to get away from the smell in the kitchen and dining area. DH scrubbed the floors with the Hoover Floor stuff that goes in the floor scrubber and it is strong. I can't even think of what it smells like but it has given me a headache.
It has been a busy day for both of us. DH has washed the motor home and I've done laundry and ironing. I've gotten some freezer meals pulled to take camping and I've baked bran brownie muffins for my evening snack. Tomorrow I will have to bake some more breakfast muffins. I'll do a double batch and then I won't have to bake while we're gone.
I must get out a check off list and start gathering and loading.
It has been another nice day here but cooling down fast.

Hi Jan and all who will follow! Sabrina is still in a lot of pain. However, the doctor told her that was to be expected. She has been staying upstairs in her room but has been walking around the room and the upstairs hall. Today I danced fast in my livingroom for an half hour. Maybe in a little while my DH and I will go for a walk around the townhome complex. I don't want to go to a park to walk just in case DD needs us. I have been reading the SPARK. I usually am a fast reading but I have been taking my time with this book. I also bought another Murder She Wrote book and going to start reading it today. I am back on my six gluten-free mini-meals. I have not posted where meals one has eaten for the day are but maybe I will start. Well, everyone, please have A GREAT REST OF SATURDAY! GOD BLESS! Louise
This morning I met up with a friend at Home Depot for a paint workshop. Basically the fellow just asked us what our questions were and they were helpful. I came home with sandpaper and a sandpaper block to try to smooth out some of the texture paint one of our renters put in the bathroom. I'll let you know how it works. My friend just bought a house and the colors from the previous owner are pretty individual.
It is wonderfully sunny and 44 degrees. I want to go sink into my chair for a nap and I want to get outside to walk. Which shall I do first?
