Hi Again Everyone! Here are my 2010 Goals:
1. Write daily in my blessing journal.
2. Eat six healthy mini-meals daily.
3. Exercise daily.
4. Enjoy my family.
Again, HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE!
Happy New Year everyone.
DS & I went to the shopping area and I signed up for a haircut, then we shopped while waiting for my time. He got some good sales. My hair is really short but my neighbor gives an excellent haircut. I washed it myself before I went so all she had to do was wet it down and cut. It costs a lot less that way. It was raining out so I don't think anyone thought anything about my wet hair.
DS is working tonight. DH & I are watching The Thin Man movies on TCM.
My new years goals are:
Read the Bible through in a year
Eat healthier and exercise more regularly
Live simply and try to cut costs as much as possible
Back to the movie!

I think the ones that I had are gone. Everything that I have is listed. If it isn't there, I don't have it...lol
Happy New Year from me too.
Not much going on here today. A little of this and some of that around the house. DH has run errands for DD. Another item to put on her list of things we do for her. She has gotten lax in contributing to the household and I plan to bring it up. DH better back me up. I don't plan on getting rich off of her but she does work and living her is a lot cheaper for her. It is only fair she pay her share of the household expenses. She does buy the majority of her own food. I don't cook for her either.
Carol, you asked me how my toss the pictures worked. It was just my way of sorting out two large cookie tins of a photos that everyone sends me. I have no ambition to put them in albums so just sorted them out by who was in the picture. Now instead of two full cans I have five cans for five different people.
I must get to WalMart today as we are just about out of vitamins. I could use a few things from the produce store too. Monday will be a bigger grocery shopping day.
I don't make resolutions either. I do try every year to eat better and have less sweets. That is the hard part.
This morning I woke up when it was still dark out side and there was a light shining through the curtains. I thought someone must have their car lights on, parked on the street. I looked out and it was the moon. It was so big and bright. I rarely see the moon in the west as I'm not up that late/early or else the cloud cover over the ocean covers it up as it sets.
Off to the store. We will stay home where it is safe tonight. I don't care to be on the road.

Sara, We must have been posting at the same time!
Happy New Year's Eve to Everyone! Again, if any of you do go out, please be safe. I still have to get to the stores. I will have to do that soon.
Heather that is fine. I also have paypal, if that would help you. I think you can use a credit card but you need to have a paypal account...but next week is just fine.
I did not get to the post office today. I need to find a box for Paulissa's books.
So it will be next week ladies. Sorry.
So, this is what I have so far. Let me know if this is not right.

I will get these boxed up this weekend, priced on MOnday, and let you girls know.
The Thin Man series. I like those old movies. Thanks for letting us know.
Louise, so glad that your daughter is looking a bit better. Hey, about the praying, that's what we are here for right? To pray for each other, to hold each other in our prayers and thoughts...To be there to listen when we are in trouble, or just having a bad time of it, no matter what the situation is. So you tell your daughter, she is very welcome, and think no more about it, except to know that she is in our prayers.
I really don't make resolutions either. My only thing, if you want to call it a resolution, is to be healthier this year than last year. I am healthier than I was a year ago, not any more weight lost really, but healthier.
Next year the same. Hopefully with some missing pounds somewhere along the line.
I am still seeing what I can and can not eat, without it causing more pain.
I do know that artificial sweeteners, cause me mucho pain girls. So if you have a lot of them, and have pain, you may want to try to go without for a bit, and see if it makes a difference.
I also know that dairy and I do not do well together. It was so easy to cut out dairy. I just continued to feel so much better without it, that it is worth it to me to be without it. But I do miss it, all of it except the milk. yuk, regular milk, I have not liked that for ever so long.
So that is my goal, I guess you could say, for 2010. To be healthier at the end of the year than I was at the beginning. It is just trial and error for each of us, to see what works and what doesn't for our own individual bodies...
Praying you all stay safe and warm tonight, and have a pleasant evening. May God bless you all girls, as you see this year out, and welcome in another.
I finished the Beverly Lewis book today and now I'm hankering for another.
I'm about to head out to sign up to get my hair cut. Apparently I can't ask anyone at the shop to sign me up so I have to go and wait. DS & I will look around the stores.
I gave DH a haircut this morning and he likes it.
When I get back I'll talk about New Years resolutions.

Hi Patty and all who will follow! Good New Year's Eve Morning! Well, it is almost afternoon here in Arizona and by the time I finish posting this it will
be afternoon. In just a little while I am going to go to Barnes&Noble to buy SPARK. I did not pre-order it but I do want to get it. Then I am going to do healthy grocery shopping at Sprouts, Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. Maybe I will go to the Christian bookstore but not sure. As for tonight, I will make a nice dinner. We will stay at home also and probably have a quiet New Year's Eve. DH had to work days this week so he probably will be tired. Changing from the night shift to days for two week will do a job on one's body. Then he has to take next week off because the plant he works at is closed. Then back on nights. Anyway, I am sure he will be tired but we can play board games and maybe look at a good movie. He likes action movies, I like funny movies but we both like musicals. DD is still in pain and will be until her operation. However, yesterday she looked the best I have seen her in a while. She told me to tell all of you Thank You for praying for her. She really appreciates all of your prayers. She got invited to go to a party but she is not going. I don't like being on the roads tonight. Everyone, please have A SAFE, WONDERFUL AND BLESS NEW YEAR'S EVE!
Hi Patty and all who follow!
Well here we are on the threshold of a brand spanking new year! How exciting!
Patty I don't really do New Year's resolutions, for me I work on things I want to change throughout the year. So my only "resolution" will be to have a healthy year filled with friends and hope. And I truly wish that for each of you.
Ann that pizza sounded so good (I just read yesterday's posts). To be honest my thoughts are things in moderation. One of my favorite meals is a slice or two of pizza with a salad or loads of celery and carrot sticks. I don't know the name of the cracker but it sounds very good, bet it would taste great with hot tea or coffee.
Patty I'm so glad your hubby is doing so good with his surgeries! The wear all the time glasses seems like a great idea, if I ever take mine off I lose them.
So what are everyone's New Year's Eve plans?
I always watch movies and tonight I hit the jackpot, the Thin Man series is on TCM! WAHOO I love these movies. So I'll pop hot air popcorn, use the trick Jan told me about and watch Nick, Nora and Asta capture the bad guys!
Whatever your plans might be stay safe!
Catch Ya Later
Well, we are back from town. Hubby's eyes are doing wonderfully. Yes, Louise, he will only need glasses for close work and reading the bible. In a month, he will go back and get glasses that have glass on the top and magnifying on the bottom. He prefers that to forever having to hunt up his glasses for close work. Knowing him, that would be best to always have them on your face...He is always putting things down, and not being able to find them...lol...frankly, so am I...
What are your resolutions for 2010.
Think on that, and we can post them tomorrow
I like a new year.
A new start
But each and every moment are new starts also.
Have a safe and happy New Year's Eve. We are staying home. I need to clean this house...
I also have packages to box up and get priced. I will get it done today girls.
