Heather, that is so neat that you went to Richard Simmons boot camp and still see the same ladies on his tapes. I bet that was a lot of fun. I can't wait to get the tapes. Just to age myself I didn't recognize many of those songs on the QVC premo.
Randella, I bet the allergies have gotten you. The wind sure can blow all the pollen around. When we were on our 2 week caravan in NW Az. we all were suffering. I took some Claritin I had for about 10 days and nothing. Then I switched to Alavert that I had about a 5 day supply of and finally got the sinus, drippy nose, scratchy throat under control. I'm still taking Alavert now that I am at home. Each town we were in, in AZ. had a different bush/tree causing the high pollen count. I never had allergies before the last couple of years. I've read that happens a lot.
It's evening here already. I do not know where the weeks go. Tomorrow is Thurs already!!! Thanks for all that answered about the ham. I froze it up. I just can't ever remember freezing ham. Patti, do you shop in Traverse City? I know what you mean about the people. In Fort Wayne at most of these restaurants they are packed. And I am wondering how with so many out of work. Well I am going to get ready to watch Lost. Just wanted to read up on how everyone's day went. Mine was hectic but went pretty well. I have a little 7 mo old that I just love taking care of. He's so cute. I tell everyone since I don't have any grandkids yet, I just borrow their's for the day!!! So good night everyone!
Ann, good plan for mixing Leslie's workouts with Richards. Anything that keeps us moving is good.
Heather, it's neat you got to meet those people from the clubhouse. I'm glad to hear lots of them have kept their weight off.
I'm getting ready for DHs birthday tomorrow and also the trip I'm taking. I hate leaving on his birthday but he encouraged me to do it this year. We're having lunch with the couple I'm driving down with at a barbeque place (DH's favorite). I got a new pair of walking shoes today and what a difference! The old ones seemed okay but when you get the new ones on it's plain how worn out the others were.
Afternoon, Just got back from taking my Mom to the Dr.'s. It was a long trip but it worked out just fine. He said Mom is doing well.
I have a lot of his videos from when they first came out. I can't do a mile video, but I can do 1/2 mile then stop. 1 mile just makes me hurt too bad with the fibro, but the 12 mile seems to not bother me too much. Think I will go out and walk now, or else lie down and take a nap. hmmmmm, I think the nap is winning...lol. Have a great evening. Patty
A lot of them live in LA, and most are on his clubhouse. I used to be in his club house. When I went to LA to go to his "hoot camp", I met most of them, we already knew each other online, then they were super sweet in real life. Especially Laura Silverman (she is in a lot of the interviews) she drove me all around, even though she was really really physically sick. She too me all over, even to Venice Beach. And we had a great time at some of the local farmers markets too.
Haven't been here for awhile. Hope everyone is doing good. Sun is shinning here today and it is just into the 60s. Suppose to have rain this weekend so we will enjoy the weather while we can.
Heather how did you get to meet so many on Richard's tapes? I know a girl who lived near LA and went to his center and worked out with him. Fun!!

The wind is blowing here too and I got chilled -not good because I feel a cold coming on or it could be allergies. there's soo much crud being blown about and the weeds are all in bloom. I bought some cold-ez and hope that helps. and if it does, I'm not sure it it actually did ork or if it will work because I want it to work. :-) at any rate, it can't make up its mind if it will pass or get worse.
a good day for minestrone.

I bought them last month. I like them a lot. I especially like the interviews. Most of the women are truly sweet sweet ladies. I know most of them. I wish he would of interviewed more from 20 years ago, as I have met a lot of them from the original videos and they have kept their weight off and look great!
The sun may be out but the wind is sure blowing. On the chilly side too and they say this week end it will be hot.
I was TV surfing yesterday and happened on QVC when Richard Simmons was selling a set of 7 tapes. All low impact. I love Leslie Sansone walking tapes but thought maybe Richard's would add something different to my exercise. I have ordered them. First time in a very long time that I have ordered on QVC. The last time I remember was some ear muffs for DH that wrap around the back of your head. Now you see those in all the stores. DH still wears them. I will try a mix of Leslie and Richard to see if I can't get back with the program. I know my wanting to eat right now is just boredom. When I'm busy I don't even think of eating.
