Well now I know what Heather meant about the Pretzel Salad not always turning out. I should've went with your other suggestion but it just sounded so good. The jello and whip cream layer mixed and the pretzel crust was all soggy. I tried a bit but it didn't taste very good. Oh well I guess I'll just be bringing diet soda. At least I have something. I weighed in at the challenge at my work today and I lost 1 and 1/2 pounds. I'm pleased with that. My official TOPS weigh-in will be later tonight. That's the one I'm counting. Hopefully it will be about the same amount loss even though it's later in the day. I did well on my finals. I got a B on both of them. Since I was praying for at least a C I'm good with what I got. I think my weight gain last week was due to my period more than anything. 1 lb during that week isn't too bad I guess. Take care!

I was in and out of the dentist's office in 45 minutes. My back tooth is fixed and the novacaine (or whatever they use now) is wearing off all but my chin and the lip right above my chin. But I can drink a cup of coffee. Lol.
While I was at the dentists we had visitors. Deer in the back yard again. They ate the pansies in a pot I just planted yesterday (actually they missed two small ones), got all the leaves on one strawberry plant but missed the blossom. We got 5' high chain fence and we're going to install a temporary fix today.
Vicki, I know what you mean about the difference in kids over the years. I did home child care in "80-"85. Then taught Sunday School in around 2000 and was amazed at the disrespect. I am not a mean or tough person. And some of the worst ones had the nicest parents who didn't have a clue how their kids acted when they were out of their view.
Good Morning! Sun is shining but only 32 degrees. Suppose to get up to 48 today Woo Hoo! Jealous of those of you who are having such nice weather.
Have a busy day planned doing a bunch of Easter stuff with the kids, if I can get them to do anything! Really have a lazy bunch of kids that only want to lay around in front of the TV or play. Play is important but so are other things. Have really seen changes in the way kids are raised in the last 24 years of doing child care.
Still haven't completed our part of our 2008 taxes yet either. Did call and the lady that has done them for us IS doing them this year and said she would still do them. She figured we had gone somewhere else.
Our daughter, her husband and our granddaughter, Addison will be coming here on Sunday for Easter. Then Addison will spend the night and be here Monday again. Love having her here and sure do miss her on the weeks she doesn't come. She likes playing with the other kids here. When she isn't here she does go to another day care Tuesday through Friday so she has lots of little friends to play with!
Jan, I'm sure you are anxious to get into your garden and get it going. We are too but it has been so cool here yet. The trail your son built through the woods sounds wonderful!! What a great place to be able to walk.
Linda, hope your mid-terms went well. Maybe it was stress due to the mid-terms that caused the gain at TOPS? I'm sure this week will be better at weigh in.
Louise, I'm glad you made the decision to stay up at the clinic when you have your radiation. An hour and a half drive each way would getting mighty tiring for a treatment that only takes a couple of minutes. I think I had 5 weeks of treatments when I had my radiation and I drove about 30 minutes one way. That was enough! I felt like I drove there and just turned around and drove back, however it was just before Christmas so a lot of the days I went shopping afterwards. How did it go with the kiddies yesterday? I'm sure they were happy to see you again.
Heather, the homeshow sounds like it was a fun time for you and the family. Good knives are a good investment. I must say though that I have never heard of a steam mop.
Well, have to get busy here. A good day to all!

I am up bright and early for a dental appointment this morning. I will be glad to be done with that! We're supposed to have another lovely day of 65 degrees - which is warm to us. I'm going to get a nice outdoors walk in today.
