Hi Louise, it was beautiful out today but unfortunately I spent most of it inside cleaning and doing laundry and I had two mid-terms today. I think I did ok. Not much else going on. It looks like you have a good plan in place for your radiation. I'm glad it shouldn't be too tiring.

Good Afternoon! Today is a beautiful day in Chandler, Arizona! This morning my husband and I went for an hour walk at Desert Breeze Park. It was nice getting outside to exercise. I drove up to Goodyear, AZ. to talk to the Radiation Doctor. I do have to have five weeks of radiation. She said since it is only on the part of my right arm where the surgeon took out the Merkel Cancer, she did not think I would get tired from the treatments. She thought I would get bored staying up there the whole time. She also said I could work in the mornings. So for now I am going to go to work and then drive up to Goodyear for my treatments. From where I work it is easier to go the back roads. It will take about one hour and an half each way. However, my husband and I talked about it today and he said to try it but if I start getting tired from working with my two year olds and from the driving, he wants me to stay up there. I am going to talk to my bosses and tell them I am going to try driving back and forth for a week or two weeks but if it tires me, then I am going to stay up there. I looked up on the Calendar and they put a lot more activities like a Prayer Group, Bible Study, Bingo, two Support Groups, a cooking class and still offer shopping trips. I don't think I would get bored. However, I do miss teaching so I will try working and then driving and see how it goes. I don't start Radiation until April 13th. I do go up after work this Tuesday to talk to the Physical Therapist as the
Radiation Doctor wants me to have Physical Therapy.
I am going to go out again soon for another walk. It is beautiful out. Well, everyone, please have a GREAT REST OF SATURDAY!
