I am glad to report I feel better. I was sick to my stomach I thought from the cough syrup so I didn't take any more and then coughed my head off all night. I did take a dose of the syrup at about 2 AM and wasn't sick- so that's good. The raging sore throat is gone and when I speak my family can hear me, lol. I also felt some hunger for the first time in days today.
You all know what a problem I've had with storage - now it's trying to put autumn away and take Christmas out. We sort of pushed it so our youngest son, who is single and doesn't get a tree or anything, could help us put up the Christmas village. He's always technical about where the lighthouse should be in connection to the dock and the cannery, etc.
Oldest son and his wife are out this evening. She hasn't spoken to us for two days and has been sulking in her room so DS and I will need to have a talk tomorrow.
Vicki, Is Maddie all excited about the Christmas things? She's still pretty little but the lights and things are bound to be delightful to her.
Ann, I hope you find a way to get the soup to your Mom. It does seem like one of your Mom's grocers would order it. I've noticed all the "freebies" to get business.
Louise, I hope you had a good visit with MIL and also enough time to rest up to go back to work tomorrow.
Yay! Tomorrow is cooking club.
