Thank you every one for your kind thoughts. Yes, we were up early this morning. Planned to get up at 4 am but got a call at 3 am from the nursing home where DH's mom is, that she was not doing well. She is an hour and a half away from here. We tried to sleep for the next hour but neither of us did. Got up at 4 and were out of the house by 4:40. Got to the hospital at 5:15, got checked in, did all the preliminary stuff and they took DH up at 7am. At 7:10 his brother called to tell us his mother passed away. So I had to tell him when he came out of surgery. She was 94 and lived a long good life till the last few in the nursing home but DH still took it pretty hard. His brother is coming here at 8 am tomorrow morning (so we figure we have to be up by 6:30 to get him ready and fed) with his son-in-laws van to pick him up in the wheelchair to take him the hour and a half there to make the final arrangements. Then he will be bringing him back and going back home. We think the funeral will be Monday so he will probably do the same on Monday to get him there.
I am exhausted and have some things do here yet tonight and don't know if I can sleep anyway but going to try to get something else done here. It might be next week before I really get back to SP but if I get a chance I will at least try to keep up with reading the posts. Don't want to get too far behind!
I appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers.
