Good Afternoon all. Boy, Deb you have taken on a load, I'm glad I don't have to do all that studying. I would have brain freeze.
Vicki, we're both in the same boat by staying out of the kitchen. If I can get busy on some project I can do pretty good. I'm am so hard trying to cut out the sweets so I won't have trouble with a lab test coming up. I'm putting it off for 6 weeks or longer. There is one produce grocery store I need to make a stop at and I can just taste the bulk spice drops. They are fat free aren't they.
Deb, enjoy the seminar and seeing your sister. I hope you find time for your homework. It will be nice that the class is only 4 weeks. Short and sweet but intense!
"There is no thrill in easy sailing when the skies are clear and blue, there's no joy in merely doing things which anyone can do. But there is some satisfaction that is mighty sweet to take, when you reach a destination that you never thought you'd make" Unknown
Just checking in. I've got homework and studying up the wazoo. I don't remember this much when I was in high school or college. I have to remeber that I've enrolled in an accerlerated program. The classes meet twice a week for four hours for four weeks. Yesterday we covered 3 chapters.
I've got Word and Excel next month - piece of cake (and I had better enjoy it!). Since those are some of the clerical skills I've already learned.
Before I knew about the homework, I sign up for a Diabetes seminar for Saturday morning/early afternoon. So I'll be losing some valuable study time there. Then my sister that lives in Las Vegas will be in town Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. So, don't be alarmed if you don't hear from me for a while.
